Nice stay

The rooms are organised and equipped with safe and fridge. Free parking under the hotel. The check-in is closed at 11pm but they sent us all the information we needed in order to do self check-in including how to get in the parking lot and left us the keys on the doors.

We booked two rooms, one is the 'romantic' room on the 4th floor with a view to the lake which is nice, but it seemed like the bathroom was not cleaned as there was a used towel on the bidet. The faucet in the bathroom wasn't attached well and the water didn't drain, but someone came to fix it. The other room was a 'view to the pool' but we got a room on the 1st floor which is kind of under the level of the pool, so our view was actually a wall.... The air conditioner didn't work so good and it isn't possible to control the temperature because it is set by the hotel.

The room was nice and quite big and had an elevated part with seating area, overlooking the lake. The outdoor pool looked nice, but we didn‘t try out any of the Spa facilities

The street in front of the hotel gets quite busy in the morning and when sleeping with open window, it gets quite noisy for a „Spa“ Hotel. When the windows are closed, it is okay. The Thai Food was not really special.

Nice hotel with its flaws

We booked the romantic double room. The view was fantastic, the room was very very clean and spacious with a very big bathroom. For those who travel with a motorbike there was a safe underground parking with plenty of spaces and direct access from the lift to the rooms. Close to many small villages across the lake with plenty of restaurants around the area to chose from. Staff was very friendly and overall very pleased with our stay.

I would like to highlight 3 things. -MOST IMPORTANT. The romantic double room even though it is lovely, has the bed facing the wall/tv and the view is on your back. Basically in order to see the view you have to go up two steps behind the bed and there is a wide window. Honestly i thought it would have been better but if i knew that would be the case i would have booked a double room with a balcony at half the price. It says lake view but where the window is there is literally no reason for anyone to go sit and enjoy the view. Would much prefer to sit in the balcony with a drink. -The hotel charges 8 euros for a pool set(dont know what was included i only needed a towel) if you need a towel for the swimming pool. You do have the option to get a towel from your room but i am not sure what would happen if you then asked for an extra towel? I believe this is kinda an overcharge especially when you pay almost 200 euros for a room. -The restaurant doesnt have local cuisine but i assume you would know that before you book there.

Poor cleaning and condition

when we arrived we only dropped our bags before going back out. The room was pitch black with the curtains closed and the heat was at 30°. By the time we returned later re also noticed that the room smelled of smoke which had been masked by cleaning products earlier. it was unpleasant so we spoke to reception. We were told no alternatives were available as the hotel was full but to open the window. A poor nights sleep followed due to both the smell and cold. We left first thing in the morning as we felt unwelcome and found a different hotel for the rest of our holiday. The wallpaper in the room was peeling from damp ingress from the shower room which also had a questionable level of cleaning.

The views were beautiful . We had a huge bed .

Reception staff were abrupt on check and rude on check out. Most of the staff we meet seemed unhappy. We had to return the bathrobe and towel to reception on check out or we would be charged €30 !! not sure if they don’t trust cleaners or guests ? They also charged for the car park which is mean spirited .

Room was great with beautiful view of the lake. Aircon was quiet making it easier to sleep. Parking very easy in the basement.

Disappointing, could have been much better

Mauro the bar man was very helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Thai massages. Food was decent in the Thai Restaurant, and drinks were reasonably priced. Good location, right on the lake front, although in need of a car to get to Sarnico.

We were given a disabled room, and the "view" from our bedroom was to deck chairs at the pool. Very dark room, and poor air con. The room itself was large however it was quite dated. The hotel lobby was carpeted as was the bar. I understand we got a last minute price for the room, however the real price for these rooms are incredibly high considering the standard of the hotel. I would suggest updating the decor or going with a particular theme.

they could have had better toiletries: too many different brands, and had to ask them to reception, no dental kit, better tv(with Netflix/prime video….). If it had been slightly cheaper could have been better the correct price for a room with this service should be 100-120 euros.
