Most importantly, the service was incredibly helpful and kind, with great recommendations throughout my stay. Lovely and luxurious local hotel with stunning views of Lake Iseo

A really beautiful property with WOW factor. Stunning views of the Lake from the breakfast room and balcony areas (even on a cloudy and rainy Autumnal day), and even the 'standard' rooms have a lovely balcony area with views to the manicured garden. Staff were really lovely and attentive. Met the owner who was v friendly and passionate about running a good hotel and ensuring guests have a lovely time - he showed me around the property as I enquired about the hotel's ability to host weddings. Beautiful breakfast buffet selection (15 euro pp), clean large rooms and a very home-away-from-home feeling. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lake Iseo!

Unforgettable Views, Warm Service, and Outstanding Dining

We had a wonderful stay at Relais I Due Roccoli. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. The location is truly exceptional – the panoramic view over Lake Iseo is breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The surrounding terraces and garden create a peaceful, intimate atmosphere that immediately makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. A special highlight was the restaurant. The food was fantastic – beautifully presented dishes, local flavors, and a thoughtful wine selection. Every meal felt like a unique experience, and we appreciated the passion that clearly goes into the cuisine. Overall, Relais I Due Roccoli is a place full of charm and character, perfect for those looking for relaxation, beautiful scenery, and excellent dining. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

Best place to stay near Iseo.

A Relais so nice, I stayed there twice. Such a beautiful location, even in the fog. You won’t be disappointed. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are top notch. Breakfast overlooking the lake is bountiful.

That view is unmatched and very special. The room had one of the best views I’ve ever seen. The bathroom was massive, the bed was amazing and the staff were super helpful and kind.

The phone in our room didn’t work so couldn’t order room service, there was also a €10 fee for room service.. which I thought was odd and not necessary.

Excellence.

From the moment you step in the door the staff do everything in order to make you comfortable, everyone is very professional and welcoming, the rooms are great, the view is outstanding. Breakfast is good and is served on the terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant dinner which was excellent. Luxury hotels have a lot to learn from this place,

Getting there can be a bit challenging, the in car navigation could not find the correct turn.

The hotel was lovely and the location fantastic with great views. The food was excellent and the staff all friendly and helpful. It was good for hiking from the door.

We had trouble getting there, having arrived by train and finding the 1 taxi fully booked and no buses running to the hotel as the website claimed. More sunbeds would have been appreciated - busy in the afternoons.

We had a two night stay here and found the hotel to be beautiful in a stunning location. I guess that’s what you pay for

Its location is absolutely stunning, couldn’t fault it. The bedrooms were beautiful and we had a lake view room which was amazing. Lovely pool area, quite small very very quiet and private. The restaurant was lovely too with windows that opened fully to provide a terrace effect to the front of the hotel gardens. The food was fabulous too, as was breakfast. As taxi services not the best in Iseo, the hotel arranged to take us into Iseo for a small fee.

The corridors were a little dated and probably could have done with some fresh paint and new carpets, but that’s probably a bit picky. The hotel would have benefitted from some outdoor seating at the front as that’s where the sun was in the evening. The terrace at the back of the hotel lost the sun quite early.

really nice getaway spot. excellent staff, friendly and helpful. breakfast best on our one week road trip with a spectacular view over the lake, and well worth the money. we had dinner as well, and while the food was good and the atmosphere and staff excellent, the price for the dinner was not fully matching the food on the plates.

Stunning hotel and views & amazing staff

Stunning hotel and grounds, with Incredible views over the lake! Room was very comfortable and clean with amazing cold air con. Restaurant was fantastic we ate there both nights. Staff very friendly and accommodating, squeezing us in for dinner at short notice, which was very appreciated!

There is no bar at the hotel, so you can only get drinks by ordering them from the staff when they came to the pool or terrace. The staff were fantastic and very helpful - but understandably this ordering system is quite inefficient so it meant it could take a while to get drinks around the pool / terrace. The hotel hosts a lot of weddings (which they did make us aware of at the time of booking) but during the wedding times you can’t get access to the lake views, which was a bit of a shame!

Very comfortable accomodation with a breathtaking view

Location is superb - given some that score 10, this should score 30! The view from the breakfast room is breathtaking. Very comfortable, very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The layout of the room, and all its facilities were excellent.

I would have given a score of ten but for the sense that the restaurant meals were a bit disappointing and overpriced - some were a bit bland, though some were very good. Service was at times very slow (we didn't even get a menu for well over half an hour the first evening) - being deliberately relaxed may have suited some, but wasn't always what we wanted. Breakfast was generally excellent, but low on cereals (large supplies of highly sugared varieties, but no muesli or anything similar). Finding the hotel for the first time was very very frustrating - both Google Maps and the car satnav were clueless - tip: on approaching Iseo, find signs for Polaveno and ignore anything else!

Exploring the lake regions in Italy with friends.

The hotel is in a stunning location with views over the lake for breakfast,lunch & evening drinks. The staff are excellent,very helpful & pleasant nothing too much trouble. The pool was very welcome after a hot day exploring the area although not very many beds available & the sun bed cushions really could do with being replaced,. The breakfast choice was really good,excellent choice of fresh fruit,bakery & eggs. We ate at the hotel for dinner both nights & the food,wine & service is exceptional,some of the best dinners we had on our trip. Definitely book dinner here you will not be disappointed & the setting is very pretty . Good area for cycling,hiring bikes down near the lake is easy,& there is a lovely ride all around the lake mostly on bike lanes but not totally, some short bits on roads with traffic. One of our best hotels of the trip & thank you we would thoroughly recommend to others.

We didn’t realise that the hotel is up a very steep winding road above the Lake about 4k drive,this is not really made aware in the booking details. But having said that, it is a stunning view.

Attentative, welcoming and set in a picturesque location

Hotel is set in a wonderful location, lots of open green spaces and well presented gardens. Our room had the lake view, and that is spectacular. Lake Iseo is lesser known, but is stunningly beautiful when viewed from the hotel. The hotel team are warm and welcoming and present a family feel to your stay throughout. Breakfast is served overlooking the lake, and the evening restaurant faces down the valley and gardens. For us it certainly lived up to the online photos. We hope to return soon.
