Lake Hotel La Pieve

Nothing. Really nice, relaxing stay.

This is an amazing hotel. Very clean, roomy enough, and we had views of the lake. We were in a junior lake suite. Our kids actually had even a little better views from their two rooms that were a floor higher because their view was not obstructed any by houses in the way. The breakfast was impressive. We stayed cool - important after hiking in the heat! The staff were very friendly and eager to help. We enjoyed the hot tub outside; did not utilize the pool as we swam in the lake instead. This hotel is a bit further walk from the heart of town, but it is doable. We would definitely stay there again.

There was no water the last night of our stay. Well, none at all in the kids’ two rooms. Our room had just a low flow of water - enough for all of us to brush our teeth. We were not able to utilize our jetted tut or the showers that night. It sounded like this was a city water problem not the hotel’s as they said others around there were also without water. So, the hotel is not to be blamed. It was disappointing but not that huge of a problem.

Cleanliness and the staff was amazing and very friendly. Very helpful.

Clean, good service, lovely breakfast

No spa treatments were available, despite me messaging 4 days before my stay. I was told they would get back to me, but I didn’t hear anything. I wanted to book a treatment when I checked in, but was told it wasn’t possible. I booked a spa hotel specifically as I wanted a treatment. In the end I didn’t even use the spa as this experience put me off.
