Lake view room in a rustic Italian villa

The double room is in a historic villa - the owners preserved building’s original wall paintings, stained glass windows and colorful floor tiles. It’s just beautiful! The double bed in our room was enormous and super comfortable. We also had a private balcony with a breathtaking lake view. The owners stay in the same property, but are very discreet - will help you with literally anything if needed, but respect your privacy. There’s also parking available. Overall, it’s a luxurious place with a homey atmosphere.

Walking on road into Lovere from the property is a little dangerous for about 30!feel as the road narrows and the sidewalk disappears.

Title: A Slice of Heaven on Lake Iseo!

Our stay at this wonderful B&B was nothing short of magical. Lovere is a hidden gem, and this accommodation was the perfect base to fall in love with it. Waking up to breathtaking views of Lake Iseo every morning was a dream. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had a charm that made us feel instantly at home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering fantastic local tips that made our trip even more special. We enjoyed unforgettable evenings strolling by the lake after days spent in this little paradise. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back. A perfect 10/10!

Unfortunately we didn't have time to take the little ferry, 15 minutes to cross the lake and discover Posigne!!

My favourite B&B in Italy so far.

I loved my room - Camera Romantica. The views from the window were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The whole buding had its unique charm and you could see all the effort that the owners have put into the renovation. The host was very kind and helpful. Lovere was great to visit for a few days, you can experience both nature and culture.

The only thing (not caused by the owners) is that the street in the closest proximity is not good for pedestrians.

A superb stay, excellent value for money, stunning location, hosts exceptional.

Great proximity to a small number of restaurants/bars, supermarket in walking distance, directly opposite the ferry to Monte Isola. Rooms were decorated in a tradition style of the area, all rooms have exceptional views over the lake (we were lucky enough to see the other rooms as well as our own). Off road parking. Really friendly and helpful owners, offered great advice and tips on the area. Facilities have everything you need, the beds are more comfortable than expected. Breakfast is exceptional, a lot of care and attention goes into ensuring every guest is catered for. Lots of variety and very beautifully laid out.

Directly on a busy road which can be very noisy at times. The windows do block out a lot of this noise if closed. Footpaths outside the house are tricky as you have to keep crossing from side to side if you want to stay on a footpath, otherwise you have to walk along the roadside. Personally, it wouldn’t put me off, you just need to take extra care.

Perfect base to explore lake Iseo

The location of this property is perfect! Only a very short walk to the ferry port to visit other areas of lake iseo as well as a short walk to a supermarket if needed as well as the little village with restaurants and places to walk around including a children’s park and a bit further is a public (paid for) swimming pool. There’s also a small beach a short walk away where you can rent sun loungers which has a bar and other facilities. When we visited at the beach there was a party night so worth popping down and seeing if there’s one on when you stay. The room was spacious with high ceilings and plenty of storage and a small fridge to keep water and snacks cool. The host was very helpful and friendly. There is also gated parking available.

There isn’t much not to like, although if I could suggest one improvement, it would be to buy some nice new fluffy white towels as the ones we had were perhaps overdue and upgrade.

Location is fab. Easily walkable to anywhere in Lovere. I had a triple room with decent-sized balcony overlooking the lake - stunning. Breakfast - great selection of cold items. Parking in hosts’ garage Style of property quite unique - you’ll not forget it or mix it up with some generic Box elsewhere!! Very kind and helpful hosts and PRESENT IN PERSON (not at the end of a WhatsApp message)!! If you want good wholesome “old fashioned” warm, kind, rustic, genuine Italian stay… this is the place.

Although for me - more than compensated for by its stunning views - there was some road noise. Some clothes hangers would be nice to have in the separate bathroom. There are quite a few steps to the bedrooms (and no lift) - just bear in mind for whom this might be an issue.

We strongly recommend you this accommodation. The owner was very kind and nice to us, he helped us when needed and he gave us information about the surroundings/transport. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The view was beautiful from our window. The owner gave us two bicycles to ride along the lake and visit whatever we wanted. Also the breakfast was delicious.

Just....amazing. Everything : location of the villa, confort, owners, options for things to do there

The location : amazing. Lake Iseo an amazing place for your vacation with lots of things to do : take the ferry from Lovere to Pisogne from there you can take the train to Sulzano through a wonderful landscape and from Sulzano you can take another ferry to Monte Isola. Amazing experience. The owners are very very nice people, eager to help and to offer support. Breakfast : excellent. Rooms extremely clean. Bed very confy. Everything was exceptional. If you consider to plan a few days on Lake Iseo I definitelly recommend you to stay at B&B Villa Palma. It's position is excellent, prices very decent, conditions above expectations.

Nothing to mention here. Maybe for the breakfast : not too many healthy options , but this is a personal opinion. But this was not unpleasant for me, I.m always able to adapt.

Exit right on the street with no pavement (not the owners fault, but better to know in advance), cute doggies running around (could be an issue on free walking for anxious dogs or guests)

Friendly family, beautiful property and very relaxing all round.

Communication was very clear and the family was lovely. Breakfast each morning was fresh and there was a wide variety to choose from. Rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. Beds were very comfy and location was very peaceful. A small walk into Lovere with restaurants and very close to the boats should you want to take a trip to the other towns or the island. The view from our room was also stunning - a lovely little terrace to enjoy the views.

Good location in Lovere with top floor dedicated en-suite room & terrace overlooking Lake Iseo in traditional family home with free on site parking, cold buffet breakfast, a good range of food and tea/ fresh coffee machine. Very hospitable and friendly family.

The B&B is a old villa, completely renovated. It’s situated at a walkable distance from the city downtown, and the view on the lake is very nice. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly, you really feel like home!
