Good alternative in Castro

Property is in a good area where you can just jump in the lake, have a walk to Lovere easily which takes about 10-15 min. Close to sport-action (5 min with car)

Toilet was not cleaned properly, wifi was not working, elevator is not present, main hotel door is always open day and night it feels somehow not very secure in the night.

Lovely stay, great staff, awesome location

The location, right at the edge of the Iseo lake, was great! The staff was one of the most friendly I have encountered in Italy and we had some of the best food in the restaurant.

The bathroom sealant edge has some fungus in it. Ideally, we would have seen that the larger room had a separating door in it as well, so that we could have had 3 bedrooms. Other than that, our stay was great!

Charming relaxing stay by the lake Iseo

Close to Lovere , one of the most beautiful village in Italy by the lake Iseo. The hotel has its old charm situated in historic village of Castro. There’s a restaurant on site serving lovely food. Good communication, comfortable clean and good service. The bed was so comfortable!

We arrived late directly from the airport. The restaurant was almost closed- If we were delayed after 10 pm there would not be any service available and no water or tea/ coffee provided in the room.

Location was great. Right infront if the beautiful lake - clean.

No plugs for us to plug out adapters. No Airconditioning Sadly the church bells woke us up from 4am every day and seemed to ring every hour after and our room window was opposite the street so lots of noise and noise from the cleaners closet right outside our doors. unfortunately terrible sleeps. So much potential but too noisy for us. Beds weren’t very comfortable.

If you need to buy something, there is one small shop, but there is the Conad supermarket in the Lovery.=)

Nice apartment at the lake.

The location was really beautiful. I had internet in the whole hotel so that I could connect my laptop.

There is a church in the village and there are bells ringing at night. It was a bit bothering.

It was ok for a 2 nights but not very cosy and toilets definitely need to be upgraded.

Big, clean bedroom.

Toilet was large but uncomfortable. No toilet seat cover and the toilet was in a strange location, no bench or shelf for toiletries. The hair dryer was old style and not powerful enough to dry anything. The kitchen had nothing to boil water. No wifi password given. We had to go back to reception to ask. It would have been useful to have had some bottles of water in the fridge.

Dark and no balcony

A good place for sleeping. The restaurant and the nearby caffee are very good.

There is no view from the room. You are looing in to a wall, 10 meters away. The room is therefore dark and not a place where you can enjoy anything except sleeping. The pictures online of the view are not showing the reality of the majority of the rooms. Only some rooms in another building.

Bellissima! Luxurious accommodation, Beautiful location, Excellent staff!

The facilities are beautifully decorated and designed in an extremely luxurious comfortable, contemporary style right on the lake. The location is ideal not only to explore Lago Iseo but we also took day trips to both Milan and Verona. The breakfast was delicious, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We even got an upgrade when we stayed for the 2nd time on our way back to Italy from a trip to Germany. Totally recommend this place. Stay for a few days, although better would be a whole week. It's really worth it! We heard it's going to have a pool next year so certainly will be heading back!
