Baeten's bed and breakfast

Good location with very short walk to city centre, cafes, river and castle. Very welcoming hosts, good continental type breakfast with timing agreed on arrival. Tasteful and individual furnishings. Efficient shower.

A little difficult to find initially. The room was a bit dark (smallish window, maybe north facing?) but internal lighting was okay.

Excellent location. Steps from all the sites, but a little out of the fray. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was substantial and tasty.

It was on the bottom floor at the back of the building and smelled a tiny bit musty.

It was close to the city center, and also to the tram to move easily around Ghent

This bed and breakfast "Baeten" is located in the centre of Ghent. It takes just a few minutes to reach the city centre. Spacious room, decent bathroom. Quiet surroundings. Breakfast served in your room with a selection of items

The rooms are located in a part of the house that was probably once a garage. The corridor is dark, with just a small window in the room. The mattresses and pillows are uncomfortable. The bathroom isn’t very clean, and there’s dust everywhere. There’s no soap for the shower. The price is high for this type of room. There’s a fridge, but it’s a bit noisy. The room is very damp. They didn’t clean the room or take out the rubbish
