Stayed for one night while visiting Ghent. Excellent central location, with everything within walking distance. Paid parking available nearby, which was very convenient. The room was charming and fully equipped — slightly dark, but with a nice blend of modern comfort in a traditional building.

The room was of a good size, with a large shower, a separate washing area, and a WC. The bed was relatively comfortable. Storage was reasonable. The coffee machine was available together with a small refrigerator.
The room was dark due to the black ceiling. The insulation is very poor, and you can hear every step from above and outside, where the floor is made of steel grids. There is insufficient lighting in the room, and it completely lacks a desk light.

Great location, the place is beautifully designed, and the rooms are lovely. But there was a problem.
I don't know if it's always like this, but on the day I stayed there, the room had a very strong smell of rat droppings. It was as if rats lived there. Sleeping was awful because of the bad smell. Aside from the bad smell, I liked the place.
