The best hostel in Ubud!

The staff was very welcoming, helped organise trips even when I was not staying with them anymore. I forgot few items and they kept them for me to collect. The breakfast was very tasty. Bathroom was in good condition. They offer lockers free of charge. I was lucky that all fellow backpackers were very considerate and respectful, so no problems with sleeping. There is extra toilet outside in case the bathroom is occupied.

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful stay at jero di bisma. The room was simple but had everything you need, with en-suite bathroom, curtains around the beds for privacy and locker to leave your valuables. The little courtyard was lovely to relax in, and the breakfast was simple but delicious, with homemade omelette or pancake and fresh fruit. The family running the hostel was lovely and speak perfect english, which made for beautiful conversations and cultural exchange. The location was also excellent, within the centre of ubud, with rice paddy walks, shops, cafes, restaurants and bar just a few steps away, yet the hostel is located in a quiet side street which allowed a peaceful night of rest. All in all a beautiful stay!

Sweet little place, can’t beet the price value

Very sweet owners, make something different for breakfast every day, scooter rental, only one room with 6 beds and one bathroom, great location in Ubud

More an information: sitting area was right outside the room, so when people sit there and eat their breakfast or talk it’s quite loud and you may wake up, but I guess that’s just hostel life

A peaceful and perfectly located stay with an incredibly kind and welcoming host

An absolute gem! The hostel is perfectly located, close to everything you need, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, making it the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. And the host… just incredibly kind and thoughtful! Always smiling, helpful, and genuinely caring. Peaceful stay, great location, and the kindest host ever!

Super nice hostel!!

Who likes peace and silent places, is right here. The family is super nice and they take care very much. They clean the area couple of times a day. It's super clean and cozy here. The area is at a side street, so you don't have the rush from the street. But you are so close to the city and can reach everything by walk. I stayed much longer cause it's so nice here!

Quiet hostel, great value for the price

after more than one week in ubud, this place is, by far, the one I would recommend to my friends and family. Great value for the price, perfect location, but the most important highlight is the family running this beautiful hostel. So kind, so honest, trying hard to make your stay better. This property was amazing! The owners are so so lovely, tea coffee and a great breakfast included every morning. Very accomodating and helped book cheaper tours and navigate around ubud. felt very safe staying there as a female solo traveller. cannot recommend enough.

This family is just amazing ! I came directly to this place when I arrived in Bali and it was definitely the best choice ! The owner recommended the right places to go, we talked together she is just lovely! I will come back ! The location is perfect, same for the breakfast !

Feel like home at Ubud

Cosy little hostel that feels like a homestay, the entire family is just lovely and takes care of everything. Breakfast is really good & changes daily, dorm is cleaned at least once daily. Lovely garden & great location in a quiet side street. 100% recommended - but beware: it‘s a tiny place & is booked out quickly😉

Great hostel in central ubud!

Lovely hostel. I’m super glad I chose it. The lady who runs it is very sweet and recommended nice places around. It’s a quiet lane despite being very central which means you get a good nights sleep once you are back. They keep the washroom very clean and even though 6 people share it, I did not find it inconvenient. The breakfast they serve is also very good. So glad I stayed here. 😌

Enjoyable stay

This is a small hostel (6 beds) but it is in a Balinese style house. Beautiful, close to the main tourist area but very quiet. The family lives there and the husband Dawa is a wonderful host. Have not yet tried the brekkie but heard is good. Coming back to stay 4 more nights. Book early, this place is filled up fast.

Best hostel in Ubud, super recommended!!!

Dewa and Ayu are very kind, super duper attentive, and informative. This hostel is run by a family, so I feel like I live with my own family. The breakfast is very good. You can rent motorbikes, Mount Batur trekking, tours to Nusa Penida through this hostel. Everything is available. I guarantee it's cheap. The guests who stay here are people who like to mingle and greet. The place is near the city center. Don't miss it, because they only have 6 beds and all are very well maintained!

Exceptional

I got the best deals for some of the activities and I could book everything from there. They just made a call and arranged everything. While I was staying there I had problems with my bank and couldn’t withdraw money. My hostelmom (how I liked to call her) borrowed me money and paid for my trips I had booked. She really took care of me in times of need and she always said we were all family and that’s really how it felt. I couldn’t be more grateful of the help and support I got from her. If you want to be in the best hands and have a place to come home to, this is the place for you! Thanks for everything ❤️

Sweet and simple family owned homestay hostel

This small homestay-hostel is really nice. The family speaks very well English, is super helpful and nice. Breakfast is good. The bathroom is clean and new, even though a ventilation would have been great. There is water refill possibility. The location is very nice too. Less traffic and more quite than in the center but still very nice restaurants and nice to walk.

The location is good, just off a quiet street so it is peaceful. There are a few nice restaurants and shops very close by. The bed is very comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful.

There is only 1 room so it is not a very sociable hostel, not many people to meet but if you are looking for a quiet hostel, this is perfect.

Definitely would recommend!

I really liked the kindness of the people. The curtains gave me some privacy and there was an outlet for every bed. Also, the banana pancakes and fruit for breakfast was included in the price and tasted amazing!! Whenever something was broken, it was fixed immediately. Lastly, I don't ride a motorcycle but a lot was at walking distance, which was nice!

The toilet outside was a bit less hygienic, but there was also a very clean one inside.

everything, if you looking for met new people and in the same time feel part of Balinese culture, Jero Di Bisma is the right place, you find a soo nice family in there, they are so nice and friendly, clear, happy… they have good recommendations, nice breakfast, great location (best massage in Ubud is 1min walk), anyway… that’s the right chose!

amazing place to stay in Ubud

amazing little hostel/family house. it just has one 6 bed room so you get all the attention from the most friendly family and it’s easy to meet people. Good breakfast, comfortable beds with curtains and hot shower for a good price. It’s in the center of Ubud but in a side and quiet street. I would definitely stay there again
