The hotel’s poor hygiene, uncomfortable beds, faulty facilities, cold spa water, lack of proper changing rooms, and subs

The hygiene of the room was unsatisfactory, the beds uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness below standard. The shower cabin was malfunctioning, the pool in the spa center had cold water, and the spa center lacked a dedicated changing room; instead, guests were required to use one near the gym, which emitted an unpleasant odor. Breakfast was notably poor, with a limited selection and subpar quality. Overall, the experience did not justify the cost, and the stay at this hotel was profoundly disappointing considering the price paid.

Location is out of town, but for events near the Sports Center it's convenient.

For a hotel of 5 stars, I would expect better service. It started off on the wrong foot, we had to wait 20 minutes for the desk clerk to show up for the registration. The room had (what we thought) a welcome chocolate, that we later found out we had to pay for (it was not in the minibar, it was on the table). There was a printed notification on the lobby that the tap water was not drinkable for a few days due to construction works on the road, so we assumed the water on the table was on the house... we were about to exit the parking lot when the desk clerk came running to tell us we had to pay for the water too... It was a bit embarrassing, especially as we had already told him what we consumed from the minibar. Room Service was pricey and even though they assured what we ordered would be ready in 20 minutes, it was 45 minutes and 3 calls later that they knocked on the door. Overall, I've stayed at better places in Skopje for half the price.

A Real Treat!

What a fantastic hotel! Absolutely loved this place. First of all the building is superb, properly grand. The rooms were excellent, and everything oozed luxurious. Parking was at the front and didn’t cost us anything. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice in a really airy restaurant area. A bit of a walk to the centre though. A taxi costs about 5eu, so not too much. A word about the staff. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

Dissapointed

The hotel enterior was looking very nice.

Breakfast was poor, and the coffee machine broke down so we couldn't have a coffee. Spa had space only for 10 people at the time, even though capacity of the hotel was huge and also they were letting in the people from the outside to the spa. We couldn't get in the whole day, just 20 minutes before closing. The pool water was cold. Turkish bathroom wasn't operational. There is a busy road right in front of the hotel, so it wasn't a peaceful sleep. Electricity in the whole hotel has shut down in the middle of the night for one hour, then when it came back on at around 01:00am all lights went on, it was impossible to sleep. They force you to buy bathing cap on the entrance of the spa which is the hidden cost not mentioned anywhere on the booking. Com. It costs 350 denars per person. No one actually wore a cap inside. The bathroom door could not close. There is no soap dispenser in the room, so its not very hygienic. My husband came before me to check in, and they didn't let him into the room until I came, even though he showed them a screenshot of the booking confirmation on the phone. When we asked receptionist to book us a dinner in the city, or to recommend the place, he said I can hardly get you anywhere, but we called on our own and booked the restaurant easy. When we came to the breakfast the waitress said our names are already crossed even though we just woke up and came downstairs. We wanted coctails in the bar but the waitor said the bar lady doesn't know to make coctails. All in all it was completely dissapointing.
