Great, central, cheap but slightly worn out and with a limited breakfast buffet

The breakfast buffet is kind of fine - except the bread section that is really limited and not to my taste woth only fluffe bread and toast. the fresh fruit could really use som yoghurt. it is not really adverticed what you can get in the bar - proper coffee and servings are aparently available...?

I will surely come back

Very close to the center. Two shopping malls in 10 minutes walk. 15 minutes walk from the Bazar. Staff was very friendly, cleaning was good. The room was a little old fashioned and in need of a little renovation. For the price, this was a real bargain.

The room door got stuck. The coffee at breakfast was not tasty and they could do with more vegetables.

Don't stay if you have a car

Great breakfast and it was included in the price of the hotel. The staff was also very friendly.

I reserved parking and my car was towed while checking in. There is nowhere to park, besides on the street outside and it was gone within minutes. Don't recommend staying here if you have a vehicle. Also, if you have an American Visa card, prepare to have it rejected. We weren't the only guest to experience credit card rejections.

Great breakfast and friendly staff

My car was towed during check in because the hotel gate was locked and the staff didn’t move my car into the parking garage quickly enough. No urgency whatsoever and the night manager made it seem like it was my fault. I could barely sleep after the interaction. The breakfast and location are nice, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have a car.

Not able to close the door of the balcony so when u smoked the whole room smelled. The massage i got was in many ways not good. No sorry for it nothing so very dissapointing

Nice hotel in the city of center

We return to this hotel,was our second stay. Compared to last year we did not receive welcome drink. Room was nice,bigger with balcony and mini bar. Bed is comfort,slippers are included. Hotel is only some steps from the main square. Very good position after long way and if you want discover the city. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good-hams,salami,cheese,musli,cooked eggs,sausages, some vegetables,olives,croissanta,some sweets… The staff will take care of your car-you give them keys and they will park car on safety place

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Comfortable bed, big bathroom, all very clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful - helped with both an issue with the safe and booking taxis. The location is perfect - a couple of minutes walk from Macedonia Square. Everything is within walking distance. Great value for money - would recommend.

Amazing stay in skopje

Excellent location in Skopje few mins from square, staff were professional and helpful, room was clean and facilities were great.For breakfast one of the waiters also offered us to do an omlette for us which was appreciated.In addition to this a complimentary drink was provided. I would recommend staying in this hotel if you are visiting skopje

I like the style and atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, the service is at a high level. The breakfast is very good. Central location.

The fan in the bathroom was very noisy. I also have some minor complaints about the cleanliness, but they cannot spoil my overall good impression of the hotel.

Good Boutique hotel

The room we had was quite small, esp the bathroom. Toilet was touching the hand wash basin so if someone is slightly bigger would get stuck! Having said that, we had a water leak from the wash basin so next day were upgraded to Deluxe room which was bigger and bathroom huge with 2 vanities. loved this room. Breakfast was Ok. Had buffet but basics, it was enough to start the day. Staff were great at reception and check in checkout was quick. They promptly took action to minor issues we had. There was a very small indoor lap pool and 2 beds which we booked at reception for an hour each day.

Could change and have some more variety for breakfast.

Our stay at Solun was a real surprise!!

I didn't know what to expect from Solun when I booked. Hotel exceeded my expectations and it was a big surprise! They upgraded us to a bigger room with balcony, breakfast was huge and of really great quality products and staff was always with a smile on their faces, ready to help! well done!! as for the location, it was only a few hundred meters from Macedonia square.

Excellent stay in the heart of Skopje

The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly, the hotel facilities are good, and a good price for the location the hotel is in. Everything you need is in your doorstep. They upgraded my room so it was a bit bigger and had a bath, which I like but I know a bath isn’t for everyone. They do great massages too!

The small balcony could be cleaned of pigeon poo, and the light in the bathroom didn’t turn off. Other than that all was very good. The hotel is behind some gates and an alley way so you could easily miss it.

The parking problem should be solved

Location, breakfast, cleanliness were good.

It is very close to the city center, our room was clean and good. The breakfast was good. However, since the hotel had a parking problem, they allocated a place for 3 days in a paid parking lot for 30 euros. I did not use my car for 1 day and interestingly enough, it was parked in front of the hotel and stayed there. They charged me as if it was in the parking lot that day. I think this overshadowed the other good things.

I really love this property. I would 100% stay here again. The room was amazing, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was great and cleaned the room every day as well as gave turn down service at night and put chocolates on the pillows. The food served at the hotel was delicious and customer service was great. I ordered a spa package and the massage was fantastic and the sauna was great as well. everything was within walking distance from the hotel . If I come back to Skopje, I will 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Ok stay in Skopje.

Nice, but very small room. Walkable location. Good breakfast. Some improvements needed. Balcony not accessible. TV unplugged and remote battery needed replacement when I arrived. Cleaning staff ignored do not disturb request and entered room without knocking while I was there. Water from shower didn’t drain properly.

Not good at all

The room was very small; I have never had such a small room in a 4-star hotel. Both my roommate and I had items stolen (my headphones were taken from the room, and her necklace was taken in front of the sauna). The reception claims they checked everything – but this is not an acceptable solution in a 4-star hotel. No compensation or anything like that? Clearly, theft is an issue there. Breakfast was okay, but I expected a wider selection (e.g., more sweet options). In the end, Booking.com was informed that I didn’t stay at the hotel, which was clearly a problem at the reception – it was eventually corrected, but it was impossible to reach the hotel by phone or email. I had to resolve everything through Booking.com.
