The hotel is in close proximity to several mosques and the sound insulation of the walls and windows is beyond pathetic. This meant I was woken up at 4:30AM by an incredibly loud loudspeaker singing outside the building which continued for over 30 minutes which kept me up and completely ruined any form of sleep or relaxation I could have had.
The staff not only did not warm me of this in advance and at the very least offer earplugs or something, but after I complained they told me there is nothing they can do. No offer to change the room, or even apology for the lack of soundproofing of this supposed 5* hotel. Nothing. Absolute disgrace.
