Our stay included breakfast which was very good. As Turkish people breakfast is very important for us and it was very satisfying including even fresh fruit as well. The massage bed has given relaxation after a long day. The location is at the center.

Great City Break Location

The location was perfect - easy access by taxi and within easy walking distance of main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, warm and had a good bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities also in the room. There was a good selection for breakfast. Staff were friendly.

Great location

Location was amazing, right in the middle of Skopje. Room was clean and staff was very helpful, especially to find us a taxi in the middle of the marathon.

Breakfast had a lot of options but quality wasn't that good. We had a 3 person room and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

An OK place to stay in the main tourist area

The location was perfect - right on the edge of the central tourist area. The daily breakfast was good - plenty of variety - mostly cold foods but a few hot foods (omlette, bacon, etc). Hotel staff was very friendly - I especially appreciated the front desk person who went outside and negotiated with the taxi drivers to set a price to take us to the bus station - there are a dozen(ish) cabs waiting right outside the hotel lobby which is convenient. A grocery store is about a 60 second walk away. Althought we didn't consume any items in the mini-bar, the prices for those items seemed quite reasonable compared with the prices for similar items in other hotels. We appreciated the two bottles of complimentary water that were on the desk.

The location of our room faced the main street just outside the hotel - lots of traffic noise, cars honking their horns. It wasn't a problem with the windows and balcony door closed but would be if you wanted to leave your windows/doors open in good weather. There were a number of obvious maintenance problems in the room which the housekeeping staff would have seen - but obviously either didn't report ("not my job") or the hotel maintenance staff didn't fix ("not my job") - we had burned out light bulbs, an electrical socket that hung outside of its box by its wires, the wall plates of the electrical outlets in the bed headboard would not stay attached, the room safe was held down by a single screw, its batteries uninstalled, and its locking bolts permanently extended such that in order to use the safe the hotel management would have needed to visit the room to reset it (we didn't bother to ask - too much trouble). What hotel only leaves a partial roll of toilet paper in the room without a backup? (answer: this one). Even though I'd sent notice (via booking.com) a month in advance of our early arrival to request an early check-in, the front desk staff would not budge from their official 2:00pm check-in time - if you get into town early (as we did) be prepared to kill time until 2:00pm (they did store our bags for us which we appreciated). Like almost everywhere in Europe, there aren't enough electrical outlets in the room. The coffee maker in the room was unplugged, and no nearby electrical outlet to plug it into unless I were to have unplugged the fridge - and with the electrical outlet hanging out into the room supported only by its 240V wires, I wasn't about to do that so we did not use the coffee maker (no big deal since the breakfast area had coffee).

Great value for money

This hotel is great value for money, clean comfortable and just steps away from Stone Bridge and Alexander's statue. The reception staff was polite and friendly too.

Excellent stay

Everything was excellent. It is the second time we booked this hotel and as the first time it was great. Very nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast with all fresh food, good parking spot in a closed controlled inner courtyard and 100 meters away from the central Alexandar square. We will certainly come back again.

Very confortable hotel in the center of the city

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, in the very center of the city, a few meters from the main square. Air conditioning was awesome. Very good breakfast.

There were not enough shelves in the bathroom. Bathroom was a little short, compared with the big size of the bedroom.

Great location, a stone throw away from the main square and walking distance to the old bazaar. Plenty of eateries around. Friendly staff. Their taxi service is worth it.

Funny rules about taking food/beverages bought outside to the room (forbidden). Can’t borrow an iron, you have to use their laundry service instead.

Cosy hotel located in the city centre

Comfortable and tastefully furnished room (classic style) Clean room and bathroom. Good quality breakfast, prepared with care from 7am to 10.30am. Very friendly staff. The hotel is located a few metres from Alexandar Square.

The shower in the bathroom needs maintenance (shower cabin door handle broken and shower head support).
