Excellent location. You are on the middle of old bazaar and city center. Clean room. Comfortable and very good bed and pillows. You will have all the basic amenities for your stay. Really helpful reception stuff. The guy there tries to give us useful information about all the aspects of our holiday. He even gave us proper socks for our Matka lake trip.

Shower arrangement. It is working good if you consider all the bathroom as a shower place! Reception stuff isn't always available on the desk. Although, you can reach them through what's up or viber.

The location is perfect !!! In my opinion best place for exploring the city centre. The communication with the staff was also goed end helpful. Proper bedding en towels en comfortable bed.

Because i had chance to see 3 kamers from the first floor i can say they were not the same clean some of them were goed and some not goed clean. Also broken plastic for the shampoo (but still working). Not goed ventilation in the bathroom if the windows are closed you smell all the time bad smell.

Friendly personnel. Clean room. Everything functioned properly.

Personnel wasn't available on Sunday. No response to 'clean towels' request. If we had known, we would have asked for more. Also, no rubbish bin in the room. Inconvenient. Shower head takes a long time to switch between warm and cold, and the soap dispenser is flimsy/ fragile. Airconditioning is a tad loud.

Perfect location and very helpful staff

This was a real gem - a great place to stay in an excellent location and very good value for money. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was high class with a very good shower. The bed was large and the air conditioning was needed in June! The location is perfect to access the Old Bazaar for shops and restaurants and also cross the Stone Bridge to the rest of the city centre. I arrived later than planned and wasn't able to contact the hotel to alert them but they made excellent contingency plans so I could get into my room and cool down! Really helpful.

It is a little tricky to find - the position on Google maps is right, walk along the alley behind the Bond Cafe. But when you know where it is, it is in the perfect place!

Fantastic central location, good value

The location was perfect, right in the old bazaar yet quiet in the room even though there was lots going on in the area outside. Air con was working fully which was great as it was very hot when we visited. The room itself was small but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped and didn't smell or flood as mentioned in some of the reviews we read. The value for money was really good for the price point. If you're visiting Skopje for a couple of days and want a good value, central place to stay I don't think you can get much better than Castrum.

I don't think the room itself was swept or mopped before we arrived as the floor was very dusty and our backpacks got covered in dust when we put them down. The room would have benefited from a floor clean after each guest.

Very good location. Thanks a lot to Peter the employee, for being so nice and helping with everything on our way out.

1- The owner (Aleksandar) is a VERY RUDE person. We were doing self checkout because we arrived late (plane delayed, after several flights), we confused the floor and apologized for the honest mistake because we thought the key wasn't working, and he rudely yelled and demanded payment the same day in a raised voice, after confirming that next day was OK via text. Then he proceeded to ask for a "10" score because of the mistake we made and how he helped. Owner: People get to the hotels VERY tired. Mistakes are easily made, and we apologize. If you can't deal with the public, you shouldn't have a business that deals with people. 2- Bathroom is pretty-looking but non-functional. The water runs free and goes out, so you better be careful when you are done or you will end up on the floor. Poorly made. Also, there is no space to put your toiletries. Very uncomfortable. 3- The WORSE mattress we have ever slept on during our month traveling around Easter Europe. 4--There is no elevator. This one we can survive without, but if you have heavy luggage, look somewhere else.

Good stay for a quick and affordable city break

- In the Old Bazaar so close to plenty of shops, places to eat and drink within a few minutes walking - 10 minutes walk from the centre and airport bus stop - Option to self check-in with clear instructions with video sent to WhatsApp - Owners were nice enough to let us leave our bags for the day when we checked out - Option for late check out - Room was cosy with lots of cupboard space and big windows to let the air in - Nice modernised building design for stairs/doors on entry

- Room isn't cleaned at all during stay - Reception manned for short periods of time so reduced flexibility to make payment however, owners very accessible to communicate with via WhatsApp - Tap design in sink very low so couldn't fill the kettle

Good

The location of the hotel is very useful, near the center of the city. There are banks, markets, local restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, mosques, historical monuments etc VERY NEAR to hotel. You can easily go everywhere by foot or by city buses. There was a small desk if you travel for work and need to study. The guy named Alek at the reception and the old lady who was cleaning the hotel rooms were helpful and kind. Small fridge in room was useful if you would bring some food with you. If it is important for you; There was not a scenery of the city when you look at the window, however you can see a small cute garden anyway. In short, Peaceful hotel to stay for short trips.

There was no breakfast or dinner. Also there were no water to drink in hotel room. When I asked if there is water, breakfast or dinner they said no there isn’t. (I got 2 bottle of water and left one unopened one there for other guests, I hope somebody will benefit :). I wish bathroom sink and toilet was a bit more cleaner. Moreover there should be a basket which contains extra soup, napkins etc. in bathroom. For these reasons I wish hotel price was lower than it is.

The right place to book if you’re visting Skopje.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The receptionist went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Skopje. From now on this is my go to spot. If you plan on visiting Skopje, know that this place is a bang for the buck.

İlk olarak bu yorumlarımı dikkate alınız daha sonrasında pişman olmayınız.İşletmenin çok fazla eksikleri var bunları düzeltmeleri gerekli. 1-Öncelikle yataklar toz ve saç içindeydi hijyen gerçekten kötüydü. 2-Banyoda çok kötü bir koku mevcuttu. 3-Banyoda yerlerde kıllar ve banyonun temizliği iyi yapılmamış baştan sağma yapılmış gibi 4-Yorgan olarak çift kişilik yatağa tek kişilik yorgan konulmuş dolapta ekstra koymuşlar ama sap sarı pis( fotoğraflarda mevcuttur) 5-Üç kişilik oda seçtik ama iki kişilik odaya üç kişi yerleştirmişler gerçekten rahatsızdı 6- odalarda ses yalıtımı çok düşük 7-Eğer yazın veya kışın gelecekseniz kesinlikle ısıtma ve soğutma klima ile sağlanmıyor duvara monte dandik birşey var hiçbir işe yaramıyor.Donmaya hazırlanın 8-Mutfak var denilmiş fakat iki çatal ve iki tabak konulmuş 4 adet dandik kahve pisliketen bardağa koymaya iğrenirsiniz.Çatalların konulduğu yer zaten iğğ.( Fotoğraflarda mevcut) 9-Odanın kapı kilidi neredeyse kopacak güvenlik hiçe sayılmış (Fotoğraflarda mevcut) 10- Fiyat performans olarak aşırı derecede düşüktü. 11-Üsküp’e genelde Türkler geliyor ve Türkler ayakkabıyla gezmediğiğinden dolayı insan bir terlik koyar bu kadar zor olmamalıydı 11-çalışanlar Çok kabalar 12-Kettle ı bile çalışmıyordu. 13- Odayı bile süpürmemişler tozlar havada uçuşuyordu Tercih et-meyiniz.

Inmejorable ubicación.

La ubicación del hotel ea excelente, justo entre el bazar y plaza Macedonia, cerca de todo caminando. A pesar de la cercania con el bazar es un hotel sin ruidos, ampliamente recomendable.
