Hotel Ambasador

A great hotel for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, the AC was working well, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of foods to choose from (eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit and vegetables, cereal). The hotel is a quick taxi ride or a 15 minute walk away from the old town.

Just a minor suggestion - perhaps an additional pillow could be provided for those who prefer a higher one to sleep on.

Cleanliness and the nice conduct of one of the staff at reception.

The lift/elevator was horrible as it used to start with a jerk and used to stop with a jerk which was very unsafe. One of the staff at reception was very nice and cooperative but the other one was equally rude, ill mannered, uncooperative and was frustrated. The bathroom attached to the room was very small. Very limited options in breakfast. The distance from the main old square and old bazaar was more than a kilo-meter(km) The room was not soundproof and the walls were so thin that even the people talking in the adjacent room were clearly audible which was surprising, when I pointed it out to the staff at reception(ill mannered one unfortunately), he said that we know this and will talk to the people in the adjacent room not to talk loudly. Overall the stay was just ok but not at par with the expectations I had with this property.
