Everything! We enjoyed a lovely well needed break. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The shower was good. Stunning views from the breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and a lovely atmosphere. We hope to return. Thank you Ivan.

Gardener's Cottage is a lovely old building in a quiet location on the outskirts of Bakewell. It provided a perfect base for our trip.

Lovely location, host, breakfast was good. Room was a bit dated.
Room and premises was stuffy, needs a good airing. Boiler in our room ensuite which was noisy when running. Windows could do with being able to be locked on vent.
Also noise when people co ing ang going from property from front door.
Did not know that crfedit cards were not accepted until AFTER booking was made.
Did not know that breakfast timings were so rigid until After arriving.

Location was nice and surroundings looked lovely.
Restrictions in place regarding where you could and couldn't go made it feel like you were in a prison and were constantly being watched by the owner. Reviews of breakfasts from previous guests made it sound exceptional but we found it to be an ok breakfast nothing more, and for the total price of the stay made it seems like you were paying a premium for it.
