The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Bakewell, and the parking space was not too far away. The cottage was perfect, clean, tidy, and had everything we needed and more. The breakfast that was included was at the local cafe, but it was a little too late for us, starting at 9am. If we had had the option to purchase a breakfast hamper where we could have cooked it ourselves in the cottage, e.g. bacon, sausage and egg, that would have been a good alternative. We were very appreciative of the welcome hamper.
The radiator in the bathroom is always on, and we stayed there when it was 35 degrees! Having the option to turn it off would have helped. Having a place to hang a hand towel under the bathroom sink would be useful.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Bakewell that had all the amenities for a short break. Had a well appointed kitchen with additional coffee and milk which was very much appreciated.
Many people walking past the property were looking at the beautiful roses climbing above the front door.
This is a perfect property and was so cosy that I didn’t want to leave.
The welcome gifts were greatly appreciated. The breakfast and excellent service at the olde pudding shop was superb.

The cottage is beautiful very twee ,
There’s nowhere to unload your car apart from on the side of a very busy road. And the Car Parking provided with their accommodation is a 5 to 10 minute walk away, which means you can’t really carry that many things to the house.
