Just be careful of the shower! The temperature changes very sporadically and dramatically without touching it!

Comfortable room. Brilliant location and parking.
The door to our room was stiff and difficult to open. We were worried that we might actually break the glass.

Goo town centre location. Comfy bed.
Tired decor and carpets. Mouldy grout and silicon in bathroom. Requires good refurbishment.

Location was fantastic
Quite tired, and not very clean cobwebs, mouldy bathroom and stained duvet, although great directions to the property and information poorly lit and information to find the room.

Fantastic location in the town centre yet really quiet and peaceful. Room was lovely, very good size and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was pristine and attractive.
Good choice of teabags and nice biscuits. Parking was on site which was perfect. Breakfast was really good and the lady in the BnB down the road who provided it was really friendly. A bit strange having to go to another place for breakfast but nice to have it included in the price.
We received check in info on the morning of our stay (not the day before as expected) and only had time to skim read it as there was lots of info to take in. On arrival we couldn’t access the room as the door was completely stuck (we really thought it was bolted from inside). We were frightened we would break the door if we pulled any harder. We panicked and went into another free room assuming they were all the same. Normally self check in means there is no one on site to help so we didn’t think to phone as in the past at other places this has never worked. We were then told we were in the wrong room so offered to swop back as we had only been there a few minutes. The gentleman was rather terse and said we should have phoned. We offered to move again later but were told it was too awkward to exchange with the other guests. We had no idea the rooms were different rates. It all made us feel terrible and we then bumped into the other guests later in the evening. They were very nice about it but we felt dreadful. It was all very embarrasing but we do realise it was partly our fault.
Also we found a corridor running behind all three rooms that had a door from our room leading to it. It said it was a one way door lock but we were not convinced by the lock and were a bit concerned as to how secure it was.
There was heating in the bathroom but no heating on in the bedroom so when we returned late at night the room was freezing. (It was December) It took me ages to get to sleep as I was so cold.

Centre of town. Car parking. Clean, warm and nice fluffy towels. Coffee facilities available.
The entrance through a ginnel to the car park was a little tight but fine if done with care.
We had a great breakfast at Avenue House.

Ground level room in the centre of town with free parking.
Comfortable bed, plenty towels, drink making facilities available and a hairdryer. A good breakfast was available in a sister B&B a few minutes walk away.
The entrance down a ginnel to the car park was quite narrow but our car was fine accessing it.

Great position in the centre of Bakewell. Good to be able to access private parking. Very comfortable room, tastefully decorated. Excellent hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast.
Narrow road access to the property. Okay for a small car but l wouldn’t like to negotiate it in a larger vehicle. Door into the room was a bit difficult to open and shut; the wooden door had swollen because of all the rain recently.

The location was good, right in the centre of Bakewell.
Free parking and central heating is always a bonus.
The bathroom tiles could really do with a full re-grout.
The pillows were flat and lumpy, sorry they needed throwing out and new fresh fluffy ones added.

Perfect location.
Easy to find.
Small and comfortable.
Only downside as a solo traveller it can be extremely dark walking back to the property - would advise a torch or something.

Excellent breakfast. Extremley riendly and helpful staff. Overall great value for money. Brilliant central location although a little hard to find at first but we take some responsibility by not reading the instructions sent to us in more detail 😀
I received an email following payment from booking.com explaining a code to access the property would be sent the day before arrival. This didn't happen and I had to email on Saturday morning as no answer when telephoned. Instructions came after lunch so my anxiety was alleviated.

This was our second stay at The Garden Rooms. We love them as they are modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, self contained with self check in and out, right in the centre of Bakewell, offer free secure parking and a gorgeous breakfast served in their Guesthouse a 2 minute walk away by a wonderfully friendly lady (so sorry I forgot to ask your name!) We will be back!
Not a bad word to say ....

The noise from next doors room, the walk to the sister b@b for breakfast,I gave them advance warning my husband was gluten free...there was no fresh fruits or yogurts,no cereals he could eat,no jams for our toast etc, worst breakfast anywhere we have stayed.

Very peaceful accommodation in beautiful Bakewell. Being able to sit in the garden chairs just outside our room was a real bonus - we were lucky to be visiting in perfect weather! Owners were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our short walk to the breakfast location. A very lovely and relaxing place to base yourself for a trip to Chatsworth/the Peak District.

Location was spot on, right in the middle of Bakewell but still quiet at night.
There was a door into a corridor behind (probably used for cleaning access) that didn't lock properly (shoved a chair under the handle while asleep).

Lovely friendly hosts. Characterful location of room in annexe arranged around hosts picturesque garden. Quiet location behind and separate from main street. Traditional breakfast cooked and served not far down the street in their charming main B&B building. Nice location in the well visited town.
