Bakewell apartment
Location was excellent, no need to use the car. Everything on the doorstep. Walked to the Thornbridge Brewery for beer and pizza which was excellent. We felt comfortable in the apartment as soon as we'd arrived and would definitely stay again. Thank you to our hosts.
During the night it sounded like the central heating was intermittently coming on as if someone was taking a shower. It could possibly have been the apartment below and something that could be solved with ear plugs. Wouldn't put us off staying again.

Great location and beautiful unit.
It was a perfect location, right in the heart of the village. Great location to do and see anything in the area.
We had a couple of problems at checkin but they were quickly sorted. There were a few issues with the property but these could be easily overlooked due to the amazing location and the absolutely beautiful village.

Excellent location with convenient parking. Nicely furnished with everything to make our stay very comfortable. Excellent communication from rental team.
My only criticism would be that there was long black hair embedded in the cream bedroom carpet along with a few old stains, which I was rather shocked to see considering how clean the rest of the flat was. If this was addressed it would be top notch!

A very nice stay in a great location, with some reservations regarding the practicality of the 2nd bedroom.
The property is in an excellent location in the centre of the town of Bakewell. It is comfortable and this Flat 4 is well appointed with a combined lounge/kitchen and two bedrooms. The main bedroom is en suite on the main floor. The second is attic-style on the upper floor with a separate bathroom.
We were two couples sharing and while the master bedroom with en suite is lovely, the attic-style 2nd bedroom upstairs has low, sloping ceilings with beams. Whilst attractive looking and it would be fine for children, it is a practical challenge for grown adults to access without stooping and ‘minding your head’. The same applies to the upper bathroom where the over-bath shower also requires care. Not a spoiler overall, but guests should be aware. Flat 4 is also at the top of the property which is reached by several flights of stairs.
