The location was perfect for us, we were very happy to be in the heart of Bakewell. It felt like nothing was more than 3 mins walk away - including the Open Top bus stop (totally recommend taking this), and a great real ale pub. The ‘price’ you pay for being central is the noise of the traffic at times. But the convenience far outweighs the noise. Also fantastic is having a free secure parking spot. If you don’t know the area you may not appreciate what a bonus this is!
Would have liked a ‘dining’ table and chairs (could put a drop leaf table in front of the fire place where the white chair is) A bedside table and reading lamp in single room would make a big difference.

Lovely Character property with plenty of daylight and town views. Great kitchen and very comfortable!
Only downside is the busy road especially over a bank holiday weekend. But on a plus great for people watching!

Location
The access wasnt good … difficult to find as all the signs had a different name on! It took us 2 hours to find the car park … we had to phone for assistance and the lady wasnt clear on the phone … car park wasnt visible and the entrance was not made clear !
