Avenue house was a great base to explore Bakewell. It is only a 5 minute walk into the town centre and 10 minutes from the Bakewell show ground if you were attending an event, like us. Great communication with the owners, who let us park early. Easy self check in. Our room was very spacious with a lovely en-suite shower room. It was facing the main road into Bakewell. It was a little noisy during the day, but it really didn’t bother us during the night with the windows closed. Tea and coffee tray with a great choice and a lovely comfy big double bed. Breakfast is pre ordered the night before. It was a very tasty, generous cooked breakfast. There was an option to have a continental breakfast and my husband had a bowl of cereal first. If you are visiting the area I would highly recommend Avenue House for a short break.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly.

Check in was super simple, the room was lovely and bed was comfortable. On-site parking and great proximity to bakewell and the rest of the peak district. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly and accomodating
