Staying at Maria’s guest house made our week in Dubrovnik an unforgettable experience.

Our host Maria was amazing. She was so welcoming, attentive and kind. She went out of her way to make you feel at home at her beautiful guest house. We loved her outdoor kitchen, patio and gardens. We were able to meet new friends from around the world while enjoying this beautiful outdoor area. We also felt the location was ideal to walk to old town Dubrovnik, get groceries or catch a bus if needed. We are very grateful to Maria.

Perfect place to experience Dubrovnik!

Maria was the best! She was so kind and accommodating, and she gave us so many helpful tips to make the most of our stay in Dubrovnik. She was the perfect host and we are so lucky to have found her! Her house and garden terrace are amazing and very centrally located (5-10 minute walk to most spots in Old Town).

Absolutely delightful stay in a beautiful guesthouse a short walk from Old Town Dubrovnik.

We loved everything about Maria's guesthouse, especially Maria. The house and terrace are beautiful. We loved having the apartment which allowed us to keep our groceries and prepare meals as we wished to. Everything was beautifully decorated , extremely clean, and beds very comfortable. Maria is a delightful hostess who made us feel so at home -with many wonderful suggestions for places to see and things to do. She provided free off site ( but very close by) parking and was available to shuttle us to our rental car when we needed it, which made having a rental car very affordable in a city with limited and $$$ parking. We walked the short distance to Old Town everyday and used the car for trips further north up the coast. Groceries are available at a corner market across the street. Everything was very convenient. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Maria's guest house.

Very rustic, beautiful apartment with Maria being a beautiful host who always ensured we knew all the best things to do and shortcuts to take. Would 100% book again.

A great host and beautiful home

A beautiful oasis close to the old town! Maria was very helpful and friendly — she told us all the places we had to see. The room fit three perfectly, and her garden was beautiful. The kitchenette also had everything we needed (no stove, etc), but it was what we needed for our trip.

Charming guest house with a lovely hostess

Maria is a friendly and helpful hostess. She gave us lots of good tips for what to see and visit in Dubrovnik. Our room was clean and big enough for three adults. We enjoyed the lovely garden and summer kitchen very much.

The distance to old town is short but when returning to the hotel there are lots of stairs. Fortunately Dubrovnik city pass contained free bus rides so we used bus when the heat was too much for climbing

10/10 - Maria is the best!

We absolutely loved our stay, especially the outdoor kitchen, which was such a unique and relaxing spot to cook and hang out. The bedroom was clean, super comfortable, and always smelled incredible thanks to the fresh sheets and the touch of fresh rosemary. The location was great too - peaceful but still within easy reach of everything we needed. We didn’t have a balcony, but the outdoor space more than made up for it! Oh and Maria is simply the best :) She picked us up from the ferry when we arrived, gave us a bunch of great tips for Dubrovnik, and even dropped us off at the bus stop when it was time to head to the airport. Such a warm and thoughtful experience from start to finish!

Amazing

Marija is a great host, she is very friendly and even gave us welcome drinks. She was very helpful when we have questions and even wants to bring us to the busstation. The location is very near the old town around 15 min walking by foot. Near the guesthouse is a supermarkt and a local bakery (pekara). Her garden is also very cute and cozy.

Best hostel in Dubrovnik

The owner was very sweet and accommodating. She cared a lot about us having fun and enjoying the trip! She drew us a map and showed us the best local spots for food, sightseeing and swimming/tanning! She also keeps a book so tourists can write about they're trip and experiences. All in all we had fun in Croatia and she made the trip even better by being so accommodating!! She has a beautiful garden with turtles, vines and tanning spots! I highly recommend you stay here!! It was awesome

Perfect stay in Dubrovnik

The entire property is beautiful, especially the garden and courtyard area. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the old town. And Maria is the best! She was so kind to me and my friends. I wish we could’ve stayed for longer.

Maria is a wonderful host, she even was so kind to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station. Also, the house and the garden are amazing, location is pretty good as well, though you have to go up quite a lot of stairs to reach it from the center of town. The walk is not too far, but just a bit vertical.

A nicer shower head would be nice, the one we had was quite harsh. But that's the only thing I can think of.

Maria was the most lovely hostess. She picked me up from the bus station and always made sure I had everything I needed. She makes you feel very welcome and home. She gives suggestions what to do, which attraction is recommendable and which overrated, which helps a lot in the tourist- spot Dubrovnik. You have everything you need nearby. Shops, effordable bistros and you are also in walking distance to the pile and old town. There is a lovely garden too, to have a chat with other guests, or Maria herself and have a chilled drink. She is always around if you need something.

Nice home stay, excellent location, amazing host!

Maria runs an amazing home stay which is great value for money, and very close to everything you need In Dubrovnic. Maria is such a generous & kind person, she picked us up from the ferry as we arrived in Dubrovnic & dropped us at the bus stop as we were leaving, taking all the hassle (and cost) out of arriving & departing the city! We were traveling with our daughter, Maria had fish for her to feed & turtles to see; such an added bonus. Also the outdoor kitchen gave us an opportunity to cook as a family & sit outdoors and enjoy a meal.

Hello Maria, Thank you so much for everything, you were without a doubt one of the best hostesses we've ever met on our travels. From the attention in picking us up at the bus station, to asking us every day if we had slept well or if we needed anything, until the last day leaving us on the boat! It was exceptional! The guest house is super welcoming, with a patio with a magnificent garden all arranged by Maria where you are very comfortable resting or eating. It is 5 minutes from the center on foot and we have several ways to go and come back. If you don't want to go to the center to eat, they have a very good take-away pizzeria 6 minutes away on foot called Belmondo Pizzaria Dubrovnik. A place without a doubt that we recommend and that one day later we think about returning!

Maria is a wonderful and warm host that welcomes you and that takes time to help you. We felt like home and we had a great time hanging in her beautiful garden. Our son had a lovely time chasing the turtles and feeding the fish. Maria was also very keen towards our son by giving him attention and small activities for him at the guesthouse. I highly recommend Maria's, the city is at 15 minutes walk (stairs) and a supermarket is next to the guesthouse. Maria was kind enough to help us with our laundry and drove us to the port for our departure.

This is THE place to stay if you want to be outside the craziness of Old Town but close enough to walk. It truly felt like a home away from home, Maria was an excellent host and went above and beyond for me, helping me with lost luggage and transporting me to and from the bus station. The house and garden terrace is stunning, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Lovely and sweat

MAGNIFIQUE especially the garden, it’s a magical place. The house is near to the old town 10min by foot and only 2 minutes by taxi. You don’t need to rent a car because the prices are very low (4,50 from Maria’s house to the old town). Maria is very kind no word can describe the kindness of this women. The rooms are very clean enough for 2 or 3 persons. I will definitely go back to her house.

As with all other reviews, Maria was wonderfully attentive and helpful but also left us to enjoy the time here. The location is perfect, especially if you have a car. It was a real pleasure to stay in Maria's beautiful property and I would certainly recommend a stay for anyone.

Maria, the owner, is super nice and sweet! Parking is included (not onsite but Maria will bring you there with her car!) the house is fantastic, with a beautiful garden. Room was cozy and clean. I would recommend this place and definitely get back next time I am in Dubrovnik.
