This is the perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, super comfy bed, in a perfect location inside the Walls. There are some stairs, but not too bad for Dubrovnik. The owner, Luka, was super responsive and helpful; he even let me store my luggage since my flight left later in the day I checked out. Book Vivaldi now!!!

We loved our stay at Vivaldi in Old town Dubrovnik. Luka was very communicative about check-in, sending a video of the actual path to walk from the Buža gate to the hotel, which was incredibly helpful! (I wish our host in Split had done the same!!). Our room, the first one through the front door, was lovely and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially appreciated the thick beach towels, which were invaluable for our day on the water. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Vivaldi on my next trip to Dubrovnik, which I’m already plotting because I absolutely fell in love with this enchanting town! A word of caution, though, which I’m sure is echoed in most reviews: make sure you’re in good shape before you arrive! It’s about 120 decently steep steps from Stradún, the port, and the main two gates to the hotel. Indeed, ALL of Dubrovnik involves lots of steps, but you will be richly rewarded by the quiet comfort of this lovely inn.
