The Royal Palace cruise is a classic Vietnamese junk boat. We loved the quintessential decor. We booked a room with a balcony but was upgraded to the Royal Suite which was at the front of the boat with a large deck. The room has windows all around to enjoy the stunning views of Halong Bay.
The food is amazing, delicious and plentiful. It just kept coming. The crew are very friendly and informative. They will help you with all your needs. Thank you for making our time with you a memorable and enjoyable experience

Having a private balcony . The food was excellent ! The tour was very well organized . The boat is older but does have charm . A smaller boat , so not too many people .
The bathrooms on the lower deck were not very nice

Nice staff .
Boat needs to be seriously updated. Competing boats going to the effort with little touches like fairy lights and nicer furnishings. A little extra care with cleanliness in bathroom and dining area. Activities seemed a little rushed and NYE countdown should have been on top deck to see fireworks.
