Orchid Classic Cruise

The rooms were very clean and beautiful, always hot water, amazing staff

For the value, the whole thing felt very very rushed. It is listed as 3 days two nights but it feels much more like 1 full day, 2 half days, and two nights. Activities could be more flexible as there is a lot to do in the area

Outstanding staff, great ship Orchid Classic 2 with just 14 rooms. Rooms are excellent. Nice program, outstanding cocktails at decent price during happy hour.

The meals were a bit better than adequate. The staff were very good. Our cabin was excellent

we wanted to swim but are in our late 70's and the only way was up and down a very steep metal ladder. Also there was a boat spewing oil into the water delivering to our boat.....that made it anything but conducive to swimming..... We couldn't go to any cute little beaches as shown in photos because the tides were wrong. A lot of the boats had slides into the water which would have been fun....ours didn't. I think Halong Bay has lost some of its charm or maybe we are just too old. Too many other boats even with a 2 night cruise.....it was a bit boring. The little village you go to isn't very interesting....just more shops.
