Mon Cheri Cruises

The cruise was excellent, and Ducky was fantastic! He always made sure we were well looked after and was such a lovely person. Leon was also wonderful and incredibly kind. All of the staff were truly amazing. There was a great range of activities to enjoy during the cruise, including kayaking, which was a lot of fun. The food was excellent, and the rooms were large, spacious, and comfortable. We had a fantastic time on our first-ever cruise! We stayed for just one night, which was enough to get a great feel for Ha Long Bay and the surrounding bays. We also had the chance to visit Cat Ba Island and explore the caves, which was an added bonus.

The kayaking was a lot of fun. However, it was quite easy to get separated from the boat if you ventured further around the bays, and with so many boats around, it could be difficult to identify which one was yours. Someone in our group did get lost briefly. Perhaps a slightly more detailed safety briefing before kayaking would help prevent this from happening in the future, as it was very easy to do.

The facilities and accommodation on the cruise were incredible. The staff were amazing and made our stay so enjoyable. Special mention for Ducky and Charlie who went above and beyond for us.

We had an amazing three-day, two-night cruise with Mon Cheri! Our executive suite with private balcony was large and luxurious. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was delicious, and they catered so well for all our dietary requirements. There was a great range of activities, and Jasmine, our knowledgeable guide and t’ai chi instructor, was excellent! Harry, our waiter, was amazing and looked after us so well throughout the cruise. Highly recommended!

Nothing to dislike but just be aware that this will be a digital detox - wifi is extremely limited and often unavailable. If you have a local eSIM, you’ll have more connectivity but with periods of no service.

Good room, good bar

Sewerage pipe over flowed onto our balcony. Very expensive bar. The boat did not move much. They took room card off of us every time we left the boat
