I can't say I didn't like anything as the price is amazing for what you get. The one slight thing is it's about 100 meters off main road (and, FOR ME) I didn't like walking at dark down the road with my daughter....especially with luggage. Did this deter us? NO, in fact we booked several times.

Sampo, the owner and the support staff were very helpful. Overall the location is right in the middle of Ubud. The monkey forest and Ubud palace are 15 minutes away in opposite directions once you come out on the main road. There's an Indian restaurant right in front of the alley called Punjab Grill.
This homestay is strictly for backpackers. It's inside an alley where car can't reach so if you have heavy bags (like we did), you should look for other properties else you will have to drag your bags for some 250 meters on a stone path.
The room was simple and had most things one would need but some small things need improvement. The door lock of the room wasn't working from the inside so we had to use the key to open the door. The room had only one mirror which was in the bathroom, so if someone was in the bathroom, another person can't get ready because there is no other mirror. The room didn't have universal travel sockets. It had usual Indonesian sockets. Luckily I had a multi socket with pins long enough that could fit and managed with it. On the day of checkout I found out there was an adaptor kept in the drawer. It should either have been attached already or should have been mentioned when we checked in. Minor thing but matters when you are travelling.
Breakfast was simple. Didn't have options but this is not a hotel so no complaints there.
Overall, a budget friendly accommodation for backpackers, however the entire area is full of homestays, some are on the main road itself and some even have swimming pools so check out other options as well.
