The host family made us feel like their own family and were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. On our last day they asked us if we wanted to try their local attire and get clicked! The host family did help us in all the ways they could.

Beautiful garden and the sweetest and welcoming family. We spent a lot of time together and they were so kind and helpful. They will do almost anything, and are happy to show you the Balinese culture and traditions.

Great stay in an awesome spot
The location, room and comfort level of Tungeh Inn is excellent and Ibu Made and her family were warm, relaxed and generous from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. This area is super central to yoga studios, delicious food, shopping - heaps! And for anyone into exploring a place on foot it’s very easy to get around to wherever you want. I would highly recommend a stay here and am grateful to Ibu Made and her family for such easeful access to their beautiful homestay.

Beautiful place and a warm welcoming family.
From the moment I arrived, the host (Made) made me feel welcome and safe. The property was peaceful and full of beautiful sounds (fountain, bird song) and lovely plants. It was really nice to have a private porch to wake up and enjoy coffee on. It was also away from the noise on the Main Street but also a short walk to get to the centre.

A true homestay experience
Give me an outside shower and I am happy! It is that simple. I enjoyed the traditional room, the beautiful grounds and moreover the Tungeh family who made me feel at home. I understand why they have returning customers and I might be one of them. I will miss their their smiles, the calm neighborhood, the rich sounds of nature and the beautiful light that entered my room every morning. Thank you.
I’m a non-smoker and even the sight of an ashtray makes me uneasy, so I wasn’t very comfortable with that aspect of the home. It could easily be non-smoking, because I didn’t see anyone in the family smoke! The WiFi was not useable inside my room, because the sandstone walls are thick and I was the farthest from the antenna, making the signal break often. But I discussed this with the family and I am confident that they will fix the issue soon. The speed was very good though. Finally, I had a few issues with my bed sheets smelling rancid from humidity. It was the monsoon season and I reckon that I am very sensitive to scents, but maybe something could be improved so that the sheets stay fresh. This is only my personal experience. It shouldn’t shy you away from staying in this unique place!
