Very close to the Yoga Barn, with a lovely little view

The location! The specious of the room and the view at the patio. It feels airy and I liked the atmosphere in the room.

There was a rat that came onto my balcony one night, and I freaked out. But the housekeeper came up right away and helped check to make sure it hadn’t gotten into my room, as I had the door open at the time. I don’t think it’s really the property’s fault—it seems to be something common in the neighborhood.

Very close to the yoga barn

I like the patio space and space room. And it's very close to the yoga barn.

The shower head in my room was kinda broken and water was leaking from the side, so the pressure was quite low.

A peaceful and heartwarming stay

The female staff members were truly kind and took great care of me. In the mornings, I could hear many birds singing, which felt very peaceful. There’s a temple within the property, and I had the chance to witness ceremonies and enjoy the local atmosphere of Bali and Ubud — it was a beautiful experience. The room was simple but functional, and it was cleaned nicely every day.

Comfortable stay, good value for money

Good location, friendly staff, peaceful and quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Nice view with the balcony.

Bedrooms doors don’t go all the way to the floor, so there is a big gap for insects to come through. I know ants are everywhere in Bali, but there were so many all over my bedroom floor and desk.

Value for money, great alternative near to Yogabarn

The room is really clean. Good water pressure and hot water. I stayed on the 2nd floor.

One of the bedside lamps is not working, no bulb.

Very good place

Location ua oerfecr if you want to go the yoga barn. Place itself is very interesting and beautiful - you live in a local house, so it's much closer to the balinese lifestyle than any hotel. People working there are very kind and nice. I would definitely come back. Wifi was good for work.

Just a small note - water pressure in the shower sometimes is not very good.

Worst experience

Mo one greeted us at check-in, we called the hotline but no one picked up, we waited more than 30 minutes and had to walk inside to look for someone that could help us out. One of the guy stayed there ended up calling the host, and after 10 minutes on the phone, the guy handed us the keys to our rooms. Rooms and blankets+ pillows were pretty moist and smelled awful. Would not recommend anyone to stay here

Less than 5 min walk to yoga barn location

Excellent location if you want to be less than 5 min walk to yoga barn through quieter street. So easy. Huge room really nice family and you got everything you need working. Don’t expect 5 stars but you get really great value for what you are paying.

The location is fantastic. Right by yoga barn. Quiet street , very local and lovely . It was so clean the staff are great and it was ideal as I was going to yoga barn every day

Good value for money.

Very clean and quiet room with desk and lamp. Great aircon, hot shower, kettle, and hair dryer in the room. Fantastic wifi (Netflix and video calls okay). I liked the location as it was so close to Yoga Barn. Nice view from upstairs room balcony. Good value as I paid 210INR per night. Everyone was friendly.

No top sheet on bed just unwashed cover. Pillows were so big I couldn’t use them. No fridge in room. No walls dividing the balconies of each room. it is just 5 rooms at the back of the family compound - it’s not a homestay in that you don’t interact with the family. no one spoke English.

Very unique property and friendly family.

Really cool property with beautiful woodwork. Nice family. Great price for having laundry done. Koi ponds and many shrines on the property are beautiful.

Our friends had to leave when their air conditioner broke so we couldn't stay together.

Pleasant

The location is nice, a few minutes walking to the centre of Ubud. The room is spacious and the staff lovely. Is in a kind of quiet location (comparing to other parts of Ubud) but you can still hear some motorbikes and sometimes some roosters.

The shower has hot water but it’s hard to regulate it. Also the shower wasn’t so good (pretty much just a few drops). The large double bed is actually two joined single beds which made our sleeping a bit uncomfortable. The insulation in the bedrooms is not good and you can hear easily the noise of the bedroom beside or above yours. There’s a very annoying dog in the property that barks the whole day for any small noise/movement and during the night as well.

Easy access to yoga barn, quiet rooms.

So close to yoga barn, along a small side street, which meant it was whisper quiet. You couldn’t hear any road noise at all. Best value accommodation I’ve had in a long time.

I can’t think of anything, it was great! Don’t let the price put you off, it was worth more.

Disappointing

owners are very nice. they did try to fix problems in the room.

massive amount of ants…. it’s ubud so I understand few bugs and ants inside the room, but at my first night I saw bunch of ants coming from AC and heading ahead to shelves along the walls….. owner came to my room right away then spray them, bunch of dead ants on the floor, next day when I was out, they cleaned them so it was fine. on my 3rd night, many ants showed up from somewhere again and heading to bed and and so many ants spreading on the bed…..can’t take it anymore. Owener offered me other room and moved there but kinda traumatised so can’t sleep well and next day I cancel my 3weeks reservation here and moved to other place. I saw owner did their best but it was nightmare and horrible experience and had hard time to book with other place in last minutes. booking. com also didn’t help since owner had other room to offer.

Beautiful room with everything I needed.

I felt very comfortable, the room exceeded my expectations and was well decorated. The staff were relaxed and kind. Wifi worked well for me. It took me about 10-15 minutes to walk to cafes and shops. I would recommend this place to others :):)

There was some light filtering through the blinds at night which was fine for me, but impact some light sleepers.

I got stolen in this hostel, I don't know who did it.. maybe it's a guest and maybe it's the staff.. I got stolen, all of my money.. everything. Solo travelers in dormitory rooms, take care of your money and personal belongings, take it with you wherever you go or put it in locker.
