If you are require silent property this apartment will not be suitable for you, because of the trains passing by every 5

It was big enough for our family

1. The noise from nearby train tracks was disturbing. 2. Pour communication: the Team didn’t even bother to respond to my email 3. The location is not very suitable for us, in the evening when we arrived we couldn’t fine a shop that accepts credit cards, they only accept cash. 4. As we travel a lot we have plenty of experience staying in rental apartments and we used to the higher standards to be honest. The provider would usually supply at least drinking water and shampoo, that wasn’t the case.

Poor ventilation and mould on walls

Great location and good size apartment

No ventilation... Hence mould on bedroom walls. Bathroom has no windows or fan so all the moisture remains and the odour has no where to go

Getting keys and finding the apartment was a bit complex.

Good variant for money it cost, good location.

We choose these apartments for business trip - all beds are single and location is good. All necessary staff is available in the kitchen, apartments are clean, but a little bit old.

2 things were discomforting - not very pleasant smells (food or cigarettes in different apartments) and noises (thin walls).

It could have been better.

Location was good.

It did not go well at all. We were there for Anuga fair and after a tiring day on 4th , when we called the number (mentioned on the door), the person on phone was shouting at us and was using foul language. He was passing racist comments. In the end we had to figure out ourselves how to look for the keys. Kindly compensate for this as it was very disturbing for us.

Some issues getting the keys as the key box codes given were incorrect. Took a few phone calls and an hour to gain access.

Not the best place

The apartment was spacious and very clean.

There were no provisions at all in the bathroom, no hand soap, no shower soap, no shampoo. Booking this through booking.com I expected these at the very least. The fully equipped kitchen - all knives to eat with were completely blunt unable to cut cooked broccoli, and there was only one sharp knife and it was very small. The sheets were bobbly as well. The property also looks out onto a park where the locals have parties at the weekend so I had barely any sleep too (in the bobbly sheets). The area had a few facilities like an Aldi. The eating places were mainly kebab places but there was one lovely cafe where you could sit on the street and have a glass of wine and a salad! For a single woman traveler this area is quite daunting as the men hang around in large groups together.

Keys were easy to get - a little too easy. Location was good.

The box code was not scrambled and if we scrambled it it returned to the default. The aparment only had one set of keys and we did not feel safe leaving them in the box. The sofa in the apartment was dirty.

The mattress wasnt comfortable . The kitchen was so hot u can’t cook only after sunset cause no curtains. the Neighborhood was too noisy

Place is fine for a few days.

Location was amazing. You have trains going by every few minutes which could be annoying but there is a huge mall closeby. The train stop is also very close.

The pillows were very bad and the kitchen supplies were a bit basic. Would have liked some coffee or tea and some more cooking utensils. A fan could have also made our stay a bit better during the hot weather.

poorly maintained and gross

the property was in a very poor condition when arriving, house smelt bad and couldn’t be removed, the shower head was broken and dribbled water out and barely worked, the basin sink was broken and wouldn’t drain any water, the tv didn’t work, the hotel said it was 1km from train station but didn’t specify the train tracks were about 20 meters from the rooms window and the trains are going all night

Great value, perfect location

It has a great location to access to Lanxess Arena 1 train stop, to airport 2 train stops. Very big, we were only 4 of us but could accommodate 7/8. Clear description of key safe. All in all it was alive for money.

The mattresses were all very soft, you could feel the sprung I would say it’s time for a new ones. Same with pillow. They are so flat. Even though it’s spacious maximum 3 people stay in the kitchen at once.

Disappointing

very well equipped and location is perfect. house is warm and good for small stays. host was kind to leave some bathroom and kitchen supplies.

we were informed we would have self-checkin with keys in a locker. at the time we arrived there were no keys, and we were informed we would have to wait an extra hour (it was already darkening and very cold weather) for a lady to deliver us the keys Mr.Hess was not helpful at all. we called him, to ask where the keys were. He said they would arrive around 16th (hour we had said we would be arriving), and we asked him to inform us when they keys would be on the way (so we would no be waiting in the cold). His answer was "I don't call you, you call me" Our saving grace was the email contact that quickly informed us when the keys would be arriving. We waited on the cold nevertheless Also.. we noticed on the last day that all the mattresses had bedbugs... indicating they are not cleaned regularly.. my friend was really badly beaten by this bugs. Please be careful next time. Photos are attached

There was NO free WiFi, there was NO channels on TV, there was NO free parking! And only two spoons in kitchen! When I messaged property twice there was NO answer.

The location is excellent, very close to the train station.

The location is excellent! Easy to retrieve the keys.

However, I do not think the apartment is fully complete. There's a few broken things in the apartment, for example the light bulb in the kitchen doesn't work. The window in the kitchen doesn't fully close. Air vent hood in the kitchen doesn't work. No floor drain in the bathroom, except for the shower. Shower doesn't have curtains so the whole bathroom is wet after a shower. Wifi is not consistent enough, disconnects quite often.

I was not rude at all and I paid for this apartment so I don’t understand why I was spoken to like this.

We need refund for this fraud. what you showed on the pictures and upon arrival found broken bed.

It was night mare to stay in this apartment. how you would like a thing, if you have broken bed and cant sleep for whole week.

we arrived in the apartment after long journey and got tired so much. Straight away we found one of bed was broken and they just put mattress on top and it was broken underneath. In the morning time we try to call on given number but nobody received from there. Then we emailed them to send someone to fix the bed or replace but nobody came. One of our colleague slept on the floor for whole week and got sick.

Koln stay

Apartment was very spacious and warm, filled with all you need for a stay in regards to pots pans cups glasses and cutlery. Location was also good right on the train line that brings you straight into the city center.

Only thing we did not like we're the beds. The mattress where very thin and and stiff and quiet uncomfortable at times.

Good location

Noisy neighbours and noises from the train station; uncomfortable, really scratching bed- I woke up everytime when my roomate moved in bed throughout the night because noise from bed. No toilet paper- we should buy, because maid left one roll with only few paper sheets left- (what after primary residents left)- for 5 days of rent (!). Dishwasher not working at all. Noisy fridge. No shampoo, just stinky liquid soap.

Appartement zelf prima, bedden verschrikkelijk.

Ligging paar minuten lopen van station openbaar vervoer. Appartement K89 was schoon en netjes.

App. K89. Slechte matrassen. Bij 2 lig je direct op de spiralen, onvoldoende bescherming tussen je lijf en de spiralen. De 3e matras is alleen geschikt voor kleine kinderen, zo dun was die. Absoluut onvoldoende voor een volwassene. Diepvriesvakdeurtje van de koelkast is stuk. Inventarislijst komt niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Gemist werden: onderzetters, blikopener, schaar, maatbeker, peper & zout. En een 2e kookpan en een wok zouden ook wel handig zijn. Glasgordijnen zodat je niet overdag de gordijnen dicht hoeft te doen om een beetje privacy te hebben. Ook in de keuken!

Die Wohnung war sauber, Ausstattung angemessen, für 4 Personen, die kochen wollen/müssen, zu wenig, für 2 Personen ausreichend. Betten sehr bequem, aber zu wenig Decken.

DIE WOHNUNG HAT KEINEN PARKPLATZ!!! Die Parkplätze an der Adresse sind in dieser Gegend extrem überlaufen, wir mussten abends 15 Minuten um den Block fahren, um einen Parkplatz zu bekommen, diese Wohnung als Unterkunft mit Parkplatz anzubieten, ist eine Frechheit! Die Gegend ist, wie sie ist, nicht das Vorzeigeviertel von Köln, aber da kann ein Vermieter nichts dafür. Die Wohnung ist zu kalt, trotz Heizung voll aufgedreht, war die Wohnung nicht warm zu bekommen, man hat nachts gefroren, bei Außentemperaturen um +5°, ich möchte nicht im Winter in der Wohnung sein.

Cercanía al lugar de trabajo durante mi estancia

Las indicaciones para la entrada no eran claras. Nadie contestaba al teléfono. En la cocina no había ni siquiera servilletas de papel, ni sal, ni nada básico. Si vas tres días por trabajo no resulta cómodo tener que ir a supermercado a comprar cosas básicas que debería de haber en el apartamento

Nach Ankunft war der Wohnungsschlüssel nicht verfügbar, es dauerte 1,5 Stunden bis wir ihn bekamen. Es gibt keinen Parkplatz, nur Öffentliche an der Straße, aber dort war sehr wenig frei. Schlechte Erreichbarkeit der Vermieter. Im Apartment ist es sehr laut, Bahngeräusche, starke laute Musik nachts und ein Polizeieinsatz, schlafen schwierig möglich. Für 5 Leute ungeeignet, da das Schlafsofa (bei Ankunft nicht bezogen) sehr unbequem ist, dazu nicht genügend Duschhandtücher und dreckige Bettwäsche
