Very spacious and clean apartment for family, but check-in was very challenging!

It was a very spacious and clean apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. The location was great (walking distance from the main station and middle of the town) and large enough for four people (two adults and two children). Excellent value for the price (around €120 per night per room).

The real challenge was the check-in process. I didn’t receive any check-in information through my Booking.com account or by email. Presumably, it was likely sent to my mobile phone, but I later realized that my number had been entered incorrectly. Unfortunately, the hotel phone number listed on Booking.com and at the hotel as emergency contacts didn’t work!! — I only reached an automated message saying the person was unavailable. We went to a nearby hotel, which apparently manages check-ins for this property and was aware of our reservation. For some reason, we still had to wait there about 30 minutes just to receive the key. After entering the room, strangely, the water was initially cut off, and we had to turn the tap handle to get it running. The TV remote control also didn’t work (perhaps the batteries were dead). Despite these inconveniences, the room itself was excellent, clean, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent accommodation - great value.

Easy access to apartments with key code provided on the day via SMS with a welcoming message. The apartment had every comfort and was spacious, spotlessly clean, and although my room was on the first floor overlooking a pedestrianised area with cafes and shops, the double glazing cut out all external noise. The room was tastefully decorated and expensively equipped. Great value for money.

My only complaint was that I was unable to connect to the Wifi.

The place is good enough for it’s price in the middle of the summer season

Great location right in the city centre, a lot of shops and restaurants around, bus stops less than 5 mins away, good soundproof windows(which is very important with the crowded loud street under the windows), very comfortable bed, light room with good furniture and decor, system of self check-in/check-out. In the kitchen part you can find dishes, sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle, which is enough to make fast breakfast or have a snack.

The bathroom could be cleaner, please get rid of the black mold in the shower, it’s not that hard and expencive🙏

Terrible communication with the hotel manager. The hotel assumes self-check-in according to the instructions received. Instructions were not provided. Made numerous inquiries - with no specific answer. Stood in front of the hotel entrance after 22 hours. Local passers-by helped to contact the administrator in German and get a code for settling.

Our plane was delayed. We arrived later than we planned. The door was not opened for us, we called there hotline but the phone was not answered passerby's helped us call the police to find the owner so the door would be opened for us but it was not. 2 children and 2 adults had to sleep outside. Location was the best one could ask for.. right in the centre of the city.. just 5 mins walk from schwedenkai where cruise from Göteborg docks.. close to all the attractions, city , shopping, etc.. The apartment was huge and spacious.. kitchenette was added advantage to the ones like us with kids/toddlers.. Bed was cozy and comfortable.. toilet and shower being separated has its own advantages. Hostess and also the support staff was very friendly and courteous. They even helped us with early check-in and late checkout which was very convenient. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

If I really had to be picky despite all the plus.. I would say that we found dust in the corners.. felt like it was not vacuumed before checking in.
