The aprtment is located in the heart of Kiel and was surprisingly large. The building has an elevator, so you don't have to take the stairs. There was a smaller kitchen, though large enough, a large living room and a good size bedroom. The bathroom had both a tub and a shower and was quite large too. The apartment was really clean and tidy.
Even though not worn down, the some of the furniture could be updated. There were some spots to update, but all-in-all the apartment was really great.

Clean and comfortable. With fridge (remember to turn it on). Light switch + socket directly on both sides of bed. Overall great.
The information on booking.com is not updated, you have to pick up a keycard, check-in is 15:00 and checkout is 12:00. The WiFi didn't work in my room (neither my phone nor the TV could access the internet).

It was a very spacious and clean apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. The location was great (walking distance from the main station and middle of the town) and large enough for four people (two adults and two children).
Excellent value for the price (around €120 per night per room).
The real challenge was the check-in process.
I didn’t receive any check-in information through my Booking.com account or by email. Presumably, it was likely sent to my mobile phone, but I later realized that my number had been entered incorrectly. Unfortunately, the hotel phone number listed on Booking.com and at the hotel as emergency contacts didn’t work!! — I only reached an automated message saying the person was unavailable.
We went to a nearby hotel, which apparently manages check-ins for this property and was aware of our reservation. For some reason, we still had to wait there about 30 minutes just to receive the key.
After entering the room, strangely, the water was initially cut off, and we had to turn the tap handle to get it running. The TV remote control also didn’t work (perhaps the batteries were dead).
Despite these inconveniences, the room itself was excellent, clean, and we really enjoyed our stay.
