- The staff member assisting during breakfast was not particularly friendly. I noticed she seemed more welcoming toward German-speaking guests. - The rooms shown in the promotional images appear to be from a higher price category. This created slightly misleading expectations.

Excellent

I chose this hotel because of its relatively close proximity to the University of Kiel. The hotel is located on a busy road, but the thick cover of trees and bushes makes the place quiet and cozy. In the spring, birds sing in the morning, rabbits run around in the evening, and squirrels - almost at all hours. You can get to the hotel by taxi or by buses that leave from the train station.

The bathrooms are very nice and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the carpeting throughout the hotel needs to be replaced, as it shows signs of years of use. The hotel does not have an elevator.

The beds were very comfortable, the bedlinen and towels were fresh and hardly used. The room was very clean, the fittings of good quality. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the shower was a very nice surprise with the very innovative water control deserving a special mention here. For breakfast there was a very nice selection to choose from, and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. We will certainly recommend this hotel to others visiting Kiel. We found the room rate more than reasonable when compared to what was offered.

We have no complaints.

They are using some very sensitive old-style magnetic key cards as room keys instead of RFID cards. Card got scrambled so I had to head to the front desk and have it exchanged.

Difficulty in finding Hotel added to tiredness but room & Staff good.

Breakfast OK. Detailed Sat Nav info required as Hotel located outside of Kiel so ended up in middle of Town and had to get local Taxi Driver to guide us back out to find it!!

No Hot Water/Tea /Coffee making facilities in room to make Hot Night Drink or early morning ones.

A good sleep and great breakfast

Room is a good size and seems soundproof from other rooms. Bathroom looked new and nice detail with two shower heads. Breakfast was fantastic and nice selection from both juice, coffee and tee. Staff is nice and helpful.

The only thing was the carpet in the room which looked like it needs a change. There was lots of stains, but it was clean and neat.

Pleasant place to stay, professional staff, good parking, convenient location.

Hotel was conveniently located only 1 km from the highway off ramp. It was easy to locate. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance. The location of the hotel is secluded from the busy street and other businesses, so it is mostly private, safe, and quiet. All the staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy and efficient. My room was exactly as presented on the hotel website. The room was very spacious and had good storage and options for seating.

The sound insulation in the hotel between rooms and the hallway is not very good. The hotel was not very busy when I stayed, so there was not a lot of traffic in hallways, but I could hear the preparation of the breakfast area each morning, and people opening the doors, and passing in the hallways. For working, it would be useful to provide electrical extension cords, since the desk proximity to outlets is just a bit too far (2m).

Nice and helpfull staff also at the reception. Light and proper bathroom. Room size was good.

The carpet floor inside the rooms was, let me say, a bit tapped. Always suffering under industrial made scrambled eggs. If you would make it home made you would earn standing ovations for the breakfeast at 16 EUR per person!!! I bet!
