Solid choice near station

The hotel enjoys a very convenient location right next to the train station, making it a practical choice for travelers. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and both the room and common areas were clean. The renovation also looks fairly recent and well maintained, which gives the place a fresh, pleasant feel. Breakfast was quite good in terms of variety: there was a solid selection of cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts, vegetables, fruit, muesli, and boiled eggs as the hot option. As a small bonus, my room overlooked the city marina, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

On weekends breakfast starts relatively late, at 7:30 am, which can be a drawback if you have early plans. One minor comfort issue was the pillows, which were too soft for my liking and affected sleep quality somewhat. All in all, a decent hotel with a good breakfast and excellent location, though a few details could be improved.

Excellent location, but the towel policy is unreasonably minimal and impacts basic hygiene.

The location is excellent and very convenient, and overall the hotel offers good value for the price. Breakfast was okay — simple but sufficient.

I respect the hotel’s eco-friendly policies and agree that daily room cleaning isn’t necessary. However, the towel policy doesn’t make sense. For a 3-person room staying two nights, we were given only two sets of one big towels and one small towel total, meaning three people had to share towels. This falls below a reasonable hygiene standard and doesn’t seem meaningfully related to sustainability. Eco-friendly practices should balance environmental responsibility with basic guest comfort, and here that balance was missed.

A great stay in Kiel!

Everything went well. The staff was friendly and customer oriented. The elevator broke on the first day and service staff was there to fix it the next morning. The breakfast buffett was plenty and fresh.

The hotel room was suitable for our two night stay to visit family in Kiel. It is right next to the train station and just across the road from the Ferry terminal and harbour. Shops and restaurants are also within walking distance

Vom Zimmer direkter Blick auf das alte Hafenbecken. Zu Fuß 10 Minuten zum Hbf und zum nächsten Einkaufzentrum. Einfaches aber sehr leckeres Frühstück.

Es gibt deutlich bessere Hotels in Kiel!

Zimmer war relativ sauber!

Die Kissen waren sehr schlecht, es gab keinen Mülleimer im Zimmer, es war extrem kalt und zugig! Unten in der Lobby konnte man nicht sitzen, weil es extrem kalt war! Die Schranke zum Parkplatz ging nicht, weil mein Code nicht funktioniert hat, die Klingel auch nicht, so dass ich immer reingehen musste! Frühstück sehr übersichtlich! Ich würde es nicht noch mal buchen!
