Poll numbers position for the harbour ferry.

Very handy for both the station and the ferry up the fjord. Plus they have free lockers for leaving bags. Rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable with good air con.

This might be a plus. You can order a breakfast deal. But cheaper and easier to pay by item in the cafe adjacent to reception

Staff lady is quite cold and helpless. Plus the hotel even doesn’t have a hot water cooker at the reception. My family needs some hot water to take her medicine but the reception lady gave one cold response: no we don’t have.

Super hotel

This was a super concept hotel in a great location and was perfect for our city visit to Kiel. Although the hotel itself has no parking, the ZOB multi storey car park is just next door and was not too expensive.

All was good really, just would have been better if the room was one metre wider to give better access around the bed!

No kettle in the room coffee shop shut a 6 pm . No drinks available from 6 onwards had to go out and buy water elsewhere Reception was very average with staff seemingly occupied with other stuff rather than customer care.

Location, staff, facilities and eatery were all very lovely.

It was very friendly and welcoming entry, staff at desk very late for assistance. Views were exceptional. Access to Kiel Week was direct before the door. Quick access to the Bahnhof and to Sophienhof (for shopping and food) also. We were able to easily take the train to Hamburg for sightseeing. (Beware of upcoming trains strikes!) Also connection for the direct bus to the Hamburg airport with Kielius was behind the hotel.

As with many hotel rooms today, they use mattress covers that increase sweating. Also the covers were a bit heavy for the season. It was only possible to stay comfortable for sleep exactly as arranged by the hotel with the AC at 20C and using the duvets provided. It would be nice, again as with any European hotel, to have the option of a full double mattress instead of the split mattress set up. Instructions for the the coffee maker and and the dishwasher in English could be useful.

Super comfortable modern hotel at a great price.

Modern stylish hotel very close to railway station, bus and ferry terminals. Very clean good sized rooms with very comfortable beds and lots of quirky touches. Staff very helpful and great value. Reasonably priced café with a range of pastries for breakfast. What a great find!
