Location was perfect for my needs. Friendly staff, spacious, clean, comfy mattress. Value was great, really affordable. Parking available.

Not too well insulated. Neighbours next door were quite noisy. I woke up a few times by noise, assuming it may have been the bathroom ventilation next door. I would still definitely return as all in all was a great experience.

We did not need to have booked two rooms as we were three and could easily have fit in one room.

A hotel for the price of a hostel

Very nice room and bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly. The room had a cute inside "balcony" with a table and chairs. The stairs were a bit steep, have to go carefully. You can buy a breakfast at the hotel.

Nothing to complain, really. Some things could have been better (location, possibility to prepare food) but they are just a personal preference and not faults of the hotel. All in all we were very satisfied.

The staff was not present at the hotel. After being informed that the room key was working, we went upstairs - it didn't work. It was past midnight, and we were tired. We went downstairs, but no phone or bell was answered. We searched for the receptionist for about 40 minutes, and he came from outside. We could smell substances on him (guess what). I do not recommend it.

Good enough for short staing

Room was ready and big enough for 3 person . An internet was really good. It Was enough towels.

At the reception was a scandal with strange gays, who didn't have a confirmation. I think the Police had to be called immediately, but it wasn't done. On the breakfast we had a little problem, because (I don't know why) workers thought that I`m just one person, but we were three( 1 ad+2 ch) and the breakfast was prepaid together with booking . But finally everything was good. By the way, the breakfast was not so reach

At a conference out of town...

This is a conference or training facility from the 1980s: it feels a bit like a university. They still use it as a training centre so you may encounter people taking seminars etc. Breakfast is optional in the refectory and consists of an ample buffet. It's good value for money. The room had a mezzanine sitting area, which was a bit odd since you'd have to climb up a steep set of stairs to get there and down again. View was onto an inner courtyard. it was very quiet. Corridors (if you are mobility impaired) are enormously generous.

The location is reachable by bus (which runs every 10-20 minutes or so) and you are on an industrial estate opposite a residential area. Nothing to do at night there so you either take the bus back into Kiel or watch telly. Your day needs a bit of planning if you are a tourist since you can't easily pop back to your room.

It's fairly close to the city centre. The staff were respectful.

The rooms & hallways gave a strong feeling of being at a boarding school. Even the breakfast area was like a cafeteria. The bathroom was extremely tiny.
