A enjoyable hostel but I will need to cancel my membership.

The location is good, it's near the HBF if you travel to Kiel by train. The room is nice and clean. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The staffs are nice and friendly. The breakfast and coffee are perfect too.

It was my fault not to read carefully the Membership fee. I was lucky that I am 26.5 years old so I only need to pay 7 something EUR. It was ridiculous that I had to pay for this fee even I wanted to stay here only once. It really made me felt It was a pity for me for being 0.5 years younger, otherwise I would had to pay 22.5 EUR. Then they said they would send me the membership card to my home in Leipzig, and I have to mail them to cancel the membership, otherwise I will be charged the fee for next year. All of these paperwork for just one night, all I want is to enjoy my holiday.

Disappointing

Good location.

The property had no parking spaces for guests but was included while booking. Also there was no private bathroom but a shared bathroom. The amenities listed in booking didn’t not match the reality. Very Disappointing experience.

I was shocked the bath towel had an extra cost which is 2 Euro. They didn't informed earlier.

The breakfast is better than I expected. I appreciate the Tute bag for take away fruit and drinks. The staff are very accomodating and friendly.

I don't like the idea of only 1 toilet for 8 guests. Very inconvenient. The locker and bed lamp can't be used because it was broken when i checked-in and wasn't fix during my stay.

Ich würde nicht noch mal in diese Jugendherberge gehen.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber für den Preis das absolute Minimum. Das Personal war außerdem sehr nett.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr schwach. Im Jahr 2026 gibt es in dieser Jugendherberge nicht mal Steckdosen am Bett. Der Preis dafür schon im Jahr 2026 angekommen (35€ die Nacht off Season im Winter). Eine Art Nachtruhe scheint es auch nicht zu geben, denn durch die dünnen Papier Wände konnte ich die Männer im Nebenzimmer um 2 Uhr nachts lautstark reden und rotzen hören. Auf der Toilette waren Schamhaare (ich nehme an von den Männern) und im Zimmer gab es auch keinen Mülleimer, was ich doch sehr verwunderlich fand.

Leider zu wenig Parkmöglichkeit. Die Lage etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Alleine als Frau hatte ich schon ein mulmiges Gefühl mich nach 18:00 Uhr draußen aufzuhalten.

Очень вежливый и приятный персонал, любезно объяснивший нам правила проживания и предоставивший нам вечерний чай. Удобное место и приятная атмосфера.

Нельзя открыть окно и выйти на балкон. Не смотря на то, что каморка для ведосипедов очень большая, мы едва смоги найти в ней место для наших велосипедов.

Auberge propre et calme sur les hauteurs

Bâtiment probablement conçu pour accueillir des groupes scolaires, très spacieux et aéré. Chaque chambre dispose de toilettes et d'une salle de bains mais celles-ci ne sont pas directement dans la chambre mais dans un premier sas, ce qui est plus agréable. Les lits sont confortables, tout est propre et calme et la vue de la terrasse vaut la peine. Staff accueillant.

Absence de wifi dans la chambre et prises éloignées du lit. À l'opposé du centre-ville.

Überraschend gut und gerne wieder!

Das Frühstück an Tag 1 war mega! Es gab Bircher Müsli und selbstgemachte Salate, sowie frisches Obst. An Tag 2 sah das ganze etwas anders aus, was uns gewundert hat, hatten wir uns doch wieder auf dieses tolle Frühstück gefreut. Es war trotzdem gut, das Frühstück an Tag 1 hatte jedoch gewisse Erwartungen geweckt ;) Alles war sauber, von den Zimmern hin zu den Waschräumen und Toiletten. Die Jungs an der Rezeption waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage direkt am Kieler Hafen ist natürlich unschlagbar, wir waren zur Kieler Woche hier und ich kann mir keine bessere Location vorstellen. Beim Gang zum Hbf sollte man nur die Zugbrücke berücksichtigen, die regelmäßig oben ist, um Schiffe durchzulassen. Da sollte man also zur Sicherheit ein paar Minuten mehr einplanen. Zum EM-Spieltag saßen wir mit vielen anderen Gästen zusammen im Gemeinschaftsraum um das Spiel zu schauen, das war sehr nett! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt, es war eine schöne Erfahrung für uns! Und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ein Schild bei der Toilette wäre vielleicht ganz praktisch, damit jeder dran denkt, die Toilette wieder sauber zu hinterlassen, das hat in unserem Falle (haben unser Bad mit 2 weiteren fremden Familien geteilt) nicht so ganz geklappt, aber die Gefahr ist bei Gemeinschaftstoiletten natürlich immer da. Etwas zum Abtrocknen bei den Toiletten wäre ganz nett, damit man nicht zu jedem Toilettengang das Handtuch mitnehmen, oder sich die Hände mit Klopapier abtrocknen muss.

Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in Kiel sind

Die Lage ist super, sowie das Frühstück. Das Personal ist spitze und hat uns 2 mal bei extra Wünschen sehr flexibel und sehr freundlich geholfen. Lockere Atmosphäre nette Gäste tolle Lage - wer braucht da noch viel Luxus?

Handtücher auf dem Zimmer - gibt es aber gegen eine Gebühr von 2 Euro an der Rezeption

Die Lage der Jugendherberge ist super! Man kann schön in der Sonne frühstücken. Frühstück war ok, der Kaffee sehr lecker Nettes Personal

Im Vierbett Zimmer gab es nur 3 Steckdosen. Zwei Zimmer a 4 Personen müssen sich eine Toilette und eine Dusche teilen . Fanden wir etwas wenig
