Spacious, kid-friendly, great location

We had a great stay! The room was spacious with a lovely sea view. Since it was Easter, the hotel provided us with chocolates and a puzzle to color, which was a sweet surprise that made our child very happy. Breakfast was tasty, and the location was perfect for shopping, catching ferries, and just a short walk from the train station. The staff were very helpful. Highly recommend, especially for families!

Great dinner in the evening, superb breakfast. Very good room. Nice personell all over.

Could not open the doors to the balcony. Would have wished for a few TV-channels in English, or even one of the Scandinavian languages.

Great stay and recharge before getting on the ferry

We had travelled all day by train from London and it was just past midnight when we arrived in Kiel. Thank God when the hotel was visible from the railway station. The staff were super friendly and had even provided a little soft toy for our girl in her cot. I could have cried. Superb breakfast, will be back.

Excellent location, spacious and tasteful rooms, superb breakfast, helpful staff.

The hotel has a strange policy of refusing to allow guests access to an iron and ironing board - the only hotel where I have had this experience. The hotel insists that you pay for them to do your ironing within a limited time window each day. This comes across like an attempt to gouge the customer and is not helpful for business travellers.

Superb

The rooms are large and spacious. There's room to both "live" and sleep. I particularly loved the work table and I can see myself coming here in the future for work. The location is superb as well. Located right next to the train and ferry stations, I was never more than 15 minutes away from anything I wanted to see and do in the city. I'm definitely coming here again.

Wonderful hotel with one quirk

The constant necessity to log in with room nr and name to get access to the internet each time an iPhone or iPad turns off. In two days I had to re log in a dozen times a day.

Convenient to the train station and the ferry port

Breakfast was great.

I had a front room. There were men congregating outside until about midnight talking loudly. I could not sleep with the window open.

Quite nice and shiny hotel but very weird service.

Weirdest room experience ever: there was some heart-shaped chocolates on my pillow (tasted very old, like 5 years old!), gummy bears, and a do-not-disturb sign on my pillow(!). Also(!) some weird pillow-sized cover sheets without a place for a pillow. And I was a solo-travelling conference guest, which even happened in the same hotel. Really weird and makes me question the hotel’s usual guests… No conditioner, shampoo, soap (just one tube of really harsh one-for-all) in the bathroom, in a 200€/night hotel, which could be my least expectation.

Short stop during road trip

Hotel was located in front of the central station. Room was quite spacious, clean and very well insulated from outside. Breakfast was excellent in a nice location with view on the harbor. Staff was friendly.

The hotel parking was already full when we arrived. Fortunately we could park in the central station parking very close by. The air conditioning did shut off by itself during the night.

The rooms were very clean. Price/benefit balance fits my requirements. Breakwast was very good. Its near seaside as well as train station. My stay was short but comfortable. Receptionists were very kind and practic to meet your requests.

I couldnt find sleepers in the room.
