Delightful discovery with lots of charm.

Very nice stay

The personnel is very friendly and did some extra effort to let us check in early. The room was quite spacious and has airconditioning. The bathroom was good and the beds were good. Coffee/tea in the room, and a refrigerator, all very convenient. The TV is good and the wifi works well. The wellness area is a beautiful resort with lots of possibilities. The swimming pool is also beautiful with a view to thin inner court. And the breakfast is excellent, with waffles and omelets made to order, and an extensive amount of choices.

In the area we did not find restaurants at a walking distance. Parking is €9,- except when you are lucky if there is space across the street. The hotel from the outside does not seem so big, but inside it is in fact quite big with many guests, therefore the breakfast area can be a bit crowded at times.

Familiy vacation

The breakfast was very good, a lot of variety and the quality was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The spa was a bummer. We picked the hotel due to the spa facility. However in Germany it is apparently common practice to go nude in the spa. For us it was not acceptable, and we didn't know it when picking the hotel. So we ended up paying for the spa we didn't use :(

Fabulous hotel and spa

A beautiful hotel and spa. We used the swimming pool facilities. All robes and towels were supplied in our room. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The chef cooked hot food for us, too. A fabulous modern, well-kept place to unwind.

Lovely and cosy place, very clean and family friendly

Great room,very clean, the best pillow and bed i ever had at a hotel room ! Very noce area out of the busy town,very cosy and aestheticly pleasing hotel. Staff was very very nice and breakfast was very good.

My only "complaint" is that the water in the pool wasvery cold,but it turns out one has to inform the staff beforehand

Excellent couple of days in Kiel

Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast and delicious food in restaurant. Easy parking. Good location for us having our own car, but there is a bus stop just round the corner with regular buses down to the city centre of Kiel, which is definitely worth a look. All staff very friendly and helpful and most spoke good English, which we found very helpful.

For the price, some body lotion should be provided. Why are the bath towels so small?

but the room 153 is not worth 4 stars, is too cramped, especially the toilet which also has a smell from the lokum which is unbearable that we had to keep the door closed and the ventilation on constantly. if you have an electric car you need to charge (for a fee of course), you also have to pay for parking

Staff was trying their best to play the part.

Very noicy superior room, right above the kitchen. There was a mechanical sound thar went on even after the kitchen closed at 23:30. No real door (privacy) between toilet and room. Food in restaurant was overpriced.
