Good location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room

Staff very friendly and helpful, location ideal being on the corniche and nearby restaurants.

Breakfast is held in the 'sister' hotel a few minutes walk away. Both the breakfast and dinner was included with my booking and the food and service was excellent. However the lighting in the dinner eating area is so intense that diners find it only tolerable to sit away from the glare of the lights at the edges of the room; diners preference is so obvious. It made the room hot and stuffy unfortunately. I decided to go elsewhere to eat on the last two nights - places with better ambience and no need to wear sunglasses :)

The accommodation was excellent, everything was perfect.

We would like to especially mention Arjun, one of the staff members, who was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful during our stay. One day I mentioned how much I enjoyed a soup from the buffet, and the next day he personally arranged for it to be prepared again. This was such a thoughtful and caring gesture and truly made our experience even more special. Thank you, Arjun, for your outstanding service! 🌟

My biggest disappointment wasn’t the outage — it was the hotel’s lack of honesty and real care after

The location only. Everything else once you enter the hotel is sub par. The room size/layout is ok. But they got this weird cheap “carpet” which actually is similar to airplane carpet. Looks like carpet. But is made from a hard plastic. Bathroom is ok. They got a rainfall shower head. I didn’t actually really get a chance to enjoy the room due to everything that I didn’t like about the hotel. Had I had a chance to be in my room, then I could have been able to experience the amenities, the room, the hotel itself…

I booked 72 Hotel expecting a simple, comfortable stay for my family. Unfortunately, the entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived around 9:30–10 PM to find only one overwhelmed receptionist managing all guests alone. While waiting, I noticed a paper on the desk stating there would be a full electricity outage the next morning from 8 AM to 2 PM. This was never communicated before check-in, not by the hotel or through Booking.com. When I asked what would be affected, I was told “only the AC.” But at exactly 8:00 AM, the AC and the lights shut off completely. The room became hot and stuffy instantly, and the window couldn’t even be opened because the handle was missing. I had to take my children out of the room just to keep them comfortable. My nanny, who stayed behind to rest and go for breakfast, was treated poorly—questioned in a way that made her uncomfortable until I intervened. That experience alone was extremely disappointing. When I returned to the hotel, the power was still out. I asked for a late checkout because we couldn’t use the room at all that morning, but the hotel only offered a small extension to 1:30 PM. After posting my review, the hotel reached out claiming they wanted to “compensate” me. However, the rate they offered was simply the normal room rate, repackaged as a special gesture. There was no real compensation, no meaningful apology, and no genuine attempt to make things right. Overall, the lack of communication, the handling of the outage, the treatment of my nanny, and the insincere follow-up left me with a very negative impression. I will not be returning to this hotel. There are many other hotels in Sharjah that offer far better service and genuine hospitality for the same price.

Loved our stay! So cozy and attentive.

Just back from a great trip and had to leave a review for this hotel. The location is super! You can walk to the night market, the mall, a cool park, and there's an island right across the water. The hotel is small and feels like a hidden gem – so quiet and cozy. No fighting crowds for breakfast! The staff is the real highlight. Big thanks to Jasmin and Sharah on reception for being so helpful, and to Tesa for the amazing coffee. The driver for the beach shuttle was always on time. Our room was clean, modern with big windows, and the view from the 5th floor was incredible. Loved the cooked-to-order omelets for breakfast. We highly recommend this place

Heads-up: the beach (Al Khan) is nice but don't expect the fancy setup of Dubai or Abu Dhabi – it's a public beach. But that's about Sharjah, not the hotel.

Very helpful staff, even if something is not to your satisfaction they will do their best to assist, the location is great and the general atmosphere is relaxed and wonderful

Some amenities are not working properly such as the TV, the room light system is confusing and lights up in an annoying blue light when turned off which is not comfortable and needs to be covered with a pillow just to hide it

Location is the best just by the mosque and the lagoon. Breakfast is terrible, no mich choices and food is not tasty. The croissant and pastry is stale. Any espresso or cappuccino comes at an extra cost.

Amazing staff and brilliant location

Great location and amazing staff! All new and exciting mod cons in the room and super view of Al Noor mosque and the island. This hotel is in prime location and easy to get around. Mostly, the staff at this hotel were exceptional and made our stay absolutely worth it. A special mention to Nissan who went above and beyond daily to prepare our room and support us with anything we needed. We chose a half board stay and the kitchen and dining staff were always there providing us with an almost private dining experience. We want to particularly thank chef Shankar for his delicious meals every night and Shah Zain and ShahQinar for their kind and friendly hospitality and for again going above and beyond. We would highly recommend this hotel for its great location and brilliant staff who make you feel at home the minute you step into the hotel,

Lovely exceptional service for valuable spacious room and perfect location.

Perfect location, reasonable price and modern spacious rooms, high room service they respond promptly to any inquiries, proper free parking area, staff are so friendly and helpful Qurbunate she is the receptionist she was welcoming and polite, Nissan he is responsible for the room service he was kind friendly and helpful. All staff are doing great job honestly starting from the entrance till the room services, this is my second visit now and I will boom again for any further visits.

A pleasant stay in Sharjah

Lovely spacious room with an amazing view. Quick check in. Quick response on the chat. Very large comfortable bed. Great blackout curtains. Huge comfy sofa. Big enough for my child to sleep on. Fantastic AC. Amazing shower

No car parking. Breakfast was sub-standard. The sofa hadn’t been cleaned. Not enough shower gel and shampoo.

Both shower and bath were malfunctioning. The mixer was broken. The on/off buttons were broken. Constantly leaking. Shampoo, etc was not automatically replenished.
