Our stay at The BIG was one of the best we’ve ever had. If we could give a thousand stars, we would!
The place is beautiful, cozy, spotless, and truly feels like home. Our room was always incredibly clean, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the common areas made it so easy to meet people from all over the world. We also loved the Thursday braai night and how they helped us arrange tours and activities around Cape Town.
But what made our stay truly special were the people. Abdul, Kay, Naomi, Jojo, John, and the whole team welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness. We genuinely looked forward to coming back every day and telling them about our adventures.
We also felt completely safe and welcomed as a couple. We experienced nothing but love, respect, and kindness, which made our stay even more meaningful.
We loved The BIG so much that we even came back for an extra night! It truly became our home away from home, and whenever we return to Cape Town, we’ll be back.

The location and the price
The steep steps to the room. The steps were too narrow and steep for my age.
No TV channels for fifa football world cup games.. could even see news
Quantity and variety of breakfast food. Only bread and eggs. No tomato No cheese or beacon
