Nice property and the daily staff are friendly but the management side leaves a lot to be desired...

Location and rooms are very nice.

They charge a breakage deposit on booking and tell you to claim it back in cash on check out. When you inquire about it, no one knows anything. They had to phone the off duty manager to speak to him. He was very flippant and inferred that he did not know anything about it and that we were just being difficult customers. It also seems to be an issue to get an invoice from them. The off street parking offered is not practical for any normal sized vehicle either. Be prepared to park in the street.

A stunning house, very conveniently located

Beautiful room and furnishings, very comfortable

The gate didn’t close properly, so we had to fiddle quite a lot to try and solve it when we came back the first evening. The staff were friendly, but there were frequent Lu times when it would have been good to have a manager present.

Great Mountain View’s

This beautifully renovated Victorian style home offered great view of Table Mountain in a safe neighborhood. The Belvedere offered no thrill comfortable accommodation. You don’t even get complimentary drinking water in the room. We had made reservations to use the jacuzzi one early evening but the water was barely warm. You barely see much of the staff to ask for anything. The bed is very comfortable and the Aircon worked great and there were plenty of power outlets.

Comfortable, well located but no welcoming from owner.

Room was very comfortable as expected. Cleaning service done every day and perfect. House location was also very good and safe in the evening.

The welcoming was not done by the owner. So we didn’t get any information to start our visit of the city. This was a shame. Although breakfast was indicated as a possible service at booking time, this service was not offered. We had to take our breakfast outside the premises. So, don’t expect to have experience exchanges with other customers on site.

Comfortable bedroom with everything necessary.

The theft that took place due to the fact that we had to park on the street. Our vehicle was broken into with R40 000 worth of items stolen.

What I loved about Belvedere House is its incredible design and sense of privacy that you experience. You feel as though you have the whole place to yourself! After a long day touring the city, the property offers calm and relaxation. The facilities within the House are all really high quality, I enjoyed it so much.

Beautiful heritage home and comfortable stay! Great balcony views!

Belvedere House is a heritage home that has been beautifully renovated. The guest house has all the amenities you could need with beautiful views of the city and Table Mountain. A great little cafe and bakery is just around the corner and you can walk to enjoy the suburb, The room was very comfortable and presented us with all that we could need.

Belverdere house medewerkers waren heel vriendelijk. Het was schoon en droed een sfeer uit van het verleden. Erg leuk.

Schönes gepflegtes Guesthouse in ruhiger Wohnlage

Charmantes Haus im ruhigen Wohnviertel Oranjezicht, nicht zu weit vom CBD entfernt. Grosse Zimmer im schönen viktorianischen Altbau. Zum Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 gehört noch 1 grosses Wohnzimmer mit Kühlschrank und kl. Kaffeebar.

Leider war die House Managerin Nomi bei unserer Ankunft nicht mehr da, denn wir brauchten Bettzeug für die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Die Dusche ist sehr schön gross und funktioniert, das Waschbecken im Bad dagegen winzig klein.

Prachtig oud koloniaal huis in veilige wijk van Kaapstad

Prachtig oud koloniaal huis gelegen in de mooie wijk Oranjezicht aan de voet van de Tafelberg. Sfeervol ingerichte kamer met heerlijk groot bed! Personeel heel hulpvaardig. Overal dichtbij om Kaapstad te bezichtigen maar ook Clifton beach ! Lexi is een super aardige host, echt een aanrader voor een paar dagen !

Schlechtes Management

Sehr hübsch gestaltetes Haus in guter Lage. Komfortables Zimmer.

Die Zimmertür und die Badetür hatten ein Problem (Schloss defekt am ersten Tag, es musste ein Handwerker kommen). Das Gate stand in einer Nacht weit offen. Wegen einer stornierten Buchung gab es nicht wie zugesichert die Rückzahlung des Betrages. Die Managerin Lexi war sehr unseriös und versprach Rückzahlung des Betrages. Dies erfolgte wochenlang nicht. Booking.com musste intervenieren. Die Managerin war nicht mehr erreichbar. Sehr enttäuschendes und unprofessionelles Management. Nie wieder werden wir hier buchen.

Perfektes Guesthouse für City Trip in Kapstadt

Ein wunderschönes Haus sehr ruhig und abseits des Trubels von Kapstadt gelegen. Zu Fuß erreichst du die Innenstadt in 20 Minuten. Das Viertel ist sehr gepflegt und 2 Straßen oberhalb des Belevedere House findest du tolle Café und eine schöne Nachbarschaft.. perfekte Gegend und perfektes Guesthouse für die Tage in Kapstadt!!! Die Gastgeberin hat gute Tipps für Hiking und Walks in Kapstadt!!! Die Inneneinrichtung und das Dekor des Guesthous hat das Niveau von weit teureren Plätzen, die wir schon besucht haben! Alles ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll. Danke

Ein schönes Haus, in dem wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben.

Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer mit Teeküche und Bad ist für uns absolut ausreichend gewesen, ein Balkon mit Blick auf die Waterfront und den Tafelberg. Die Lage war perfekt für Ausflüge. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Lexi stand uns für alle Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung.
