    I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent one-night stay at Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa. I have stayed at the hotel previously, which is why I was particularly disappointed by the significant decline in service and overall quality compared to my previous experience. What is even more frustrating is that the prices have increased significantly since my last stay, yet the standard of the accommodation and service appears to have gone in the opposite direction. From the moment we checked in, there were several issues with our room. Firstly, there was no room telephone, despite this being necessary for contacting reception and ordering room service. I had to use my own cellphone to contact the hotel, which is not what I would expect when staying at a hotel of this standard. The air conditioning in the room was also faulty, and there was no TV remote. I contacted reception regarding these issues, and we then had to wait a considerable amount of time for maintenance to come to the room and resolve them. This unnecessarily wasted a significant portion of our stay. My question is: why were these basic issues not identified and resolved before the room was given to us in the first place? The room itself also had a noticeable dusty and stale smell, almost as though it had not been occupied or properly prepared for some time. Given that there was no telephone or TV remote either, it gave the overall impression that the room had not been properly checked and prepared before our arrival. Unfortunately, the problems continued when we ordered room service. We ordered a pasta meal which was advertised as coming with focaccia bread. The focaccia was not included with the meal. I had to contact the hotel again to ask where it was, after which two slices of ordinary toast were brought to the room instead. This was not focaccia bread as advertised and was therefore not what we had paid for. I am also extremely concerned about the images displayed on your website for the Classic Room. The website shows images of a room with a balcony and sea view, which creates a clear expectation that this is what guests will receive when booking that room type. If the Classic Room does not actually include a balcony and sea view, then displaying these images alongside that room category is misleading and amounts to false advertising from a customer’s perspective. The room I received did not match the impression created by the photographs on your website. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, particularly considering the increased prices. Basic facilities were missing, maintenance issues were only addressed after we had already checked in, the room did not feel properly prepared, our room-service order was incomplete and the advertised bread was not what was provided. On top of this, the room photographs on the website appear to be misleading. I chose to stay at Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa again based on my previous positive experience, but unfortunately this stay has completely changed my perception of the hotel. For the price being charged, I expected a much higher standard of accommodation, preparation and service. I would appreciate a formal response from management addressing these issues and explaining how you intend to rectify this situation. I also believe some form of compensation or goodwill gesture would be appropriate given the number of issues we experienced during what was supposed to be a simple one-night stay.

    The phone was not working when I needed to call reception or housekeeping i had to use my personal phone I called housekeeping asking them to bring me some missing amenities and till check out time i was waiting for them to come to my room to give me and I asked them to fix the phone they didn’t fix it
