Food excellent, staff very nice and helpful. Superb location for coastal views and walking in the countryside.

I was in room 7, not the most expensive room. No view at all as window frosted as it overlooked some electrical plant or air con unit or maybe the back of the kitchens. There was a hum of machinery of some kind which carried on all night. I slept ok but it could have got disturbing. I hope that they will triple-glaze that window if at all possible. However, I would stay again and hope to get a room at the front. It was very quiet otherwise as away from the pub side.

Beautiful location. Lovely room. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Ample seating area outside with gorgeous views. We had a very warm welcome.

We had dinner on one night of our stay. Due to lack of staff we were advised that we couldn’t sit outside - it was 30’ so just the weather to enjoy the outside with beautiful views over the sea but they needed us to sit inside!! There was a special 2 course menu for £19. Very good value but only one choice of starter left! Our bathroom wasn’t cleaned once during our 3 night stay and despite leaving the floor towel on the floor, desperately needing to be changed as the shower leaked, the cleaner left it there and I had to ask for a new one. He/she twice put the towel radiator on in the bathroom when the room was already boiling during the 30’++ heatwave. He/she took the rubbish out of the bedroom bin then left it in a bag in the middle of the floor! I had to find a dustbin to dispose of it myself! The toilet bowl was very stained when we arrived and despite asking for some bleach to be put down it, it never happened.
