Warm welcome; comfortable stsy

Rey lovely owners and staff made me most welcome. Centrally situated. Not the most modern accommodation, however very comfortable and good value for money. Would definitely stay again

Kitchen hygiene was a let down. Beds need to be more comfortable.

Location was great. Bathroom was great. Great to have dining room separate.

The kitchen was riddled with ants on arrival & overnight. The single beds were very uncomfortable & hard. For a room full of women, the toilet paper was scarce.

very local, parking, wifi and clean.

The staff were very friendly, greeted by Teri and was set up straight away. Needed extra rubbish bags as we had a lot of rubbish, the ladies Teri and Loweda were very accomadating. It was nice to speak to the staff that understood what you needed, astray, rubbish bags and fly spray as there were ants. Showers were excellent, nice to have.

For 1 night price was good, unit very clean and good supply of toiletrees. Staff super excellent 😊

Needs updating of appliances, stove especially, had to wait longer than usual for pot of spaghetti to heat up and every stuck to frying pan, bed was very hard and uncomfortable, 1 single bed was so wobbly.

TV didn't really work well; very limited station choice and no smart connection to laptop.

Comfortable motel very close to town centre

Kauri Lodge is a fairly typical motel, with spacious reasonably well equiped rooms. It is in a very good location adjacent to the main Kaitaia shopping street. The main feature to call out is that the person we dealt with could not have been more helpful - this makes a real dsifference and we would stay again.
