The breakfast was epic. The host was friendly and a good chat.

It was ok. Comfortable bed Nothing special

The shower had very little water and it could not be controlled it was either very hot or cold both days had a cold shower. The drive way was a disgrace. The member of staff host appeared to be very unhappy and did not want to be there. The doors were dirty in the room.

Room was tidy, cosy and well presented. Great kitchenette and bathroom. Could not fault the amenities. Fridge kept our drinks cool for the next days adventure.

There is a ceiling fan however on the day/night we were there seemed like the hottest day in NZ and an air con would have topped off the stay. Was not too fond of the driveway too as it was a bit too bumpy and needs some work.

Curtains are transparent, no privacy, even one of the glass of bathroom is transparent, people can see you from outside.

The room and bathroom was a little tired looking at certain parts.

Breakfast was yummy which consisted of bacon,eggs,baked beans, toast and other breakfast items had muesli cereal and fruit salad already on the table for you to eat. Absolutely loved the bed, its perfect for families who are planning to go out and explore the far north areas. The owners are awesome, great hospitality and probably the best ive had since traveling around New Zealand 🙂

If the bathroom was upgraded including water pressure, i can assure you there will be more bookings 🙂 the potholes weren't much of a problem but could do with fixing as well to add the extra touch of comfort.

Breakfast was excellent,service was good. Owner Alistir is friendly n helpful.

Water edge sign is small . For us 70’s 80’s ,a bit far from main road.

Location was good for us. Host was very helpful and breakfast included was great. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom upgrade was nice.

We did find the shower pressure and temperature mixer challenging. The driveway did have some potholes that were tricky for our car clearance. Suggest a small sharp kitchen knife would be helpful.

Breakfast was tasty. Overall quite comfortable.

Whole property needs more care taken of it, particularly the grounds, exterior of building needs cleaning and tidying, driveway repaired etc. Curtains in our room need replacing.

Location, breakfast, parking, the bed was comfortable.

The drive in was full of potholes. The dining area had cobwebs on the windows and clutter around. We were not allowed to have our shoes on in the unit. Nor in the dining room. There were no chairs in the unit where you could sit down to take your shoes off. The shelving in the kitchen was so high that I could not even reach into the back of the bottom shelf, where the coffee and tea was held. The glasses and coffee mugs were 1500% outside my reach. Yes, I am short, but never have I seen shelving with items for us use being so far out of reach. Even the mirror is so high that you can not see your face in it. There are no curtains, so to get changed or ready for bed, you have to pull the drapes closed and turn on the light. Breakfast was good, but having to listen to the host going on about religion was uncomfortable while you were trying to enjoy your breakfast. We cancelled the next days breakfast and went elsewhere. We would not stay there agin.

Room was clean and great shower water pressure.

It was very cold inside and no form of heating. Driveway needs serious work as the potholes were huge.

The location was a huge drawer close to the venue I was at for the week. We didn't go for breakfast during our stay. However, our friends enjoyed breakfast 👍🏽

Parking was a distance from the room, and needed to cross the wet and slippery grass to get to the carpark. The rooms smelt stuffy, which made the pillows smell stuffy. Aue, the huge and heaps of potholes down the long driveway.

Good value for money, personable host, clean and tidy, great breakfast!

Shared driveway was a bit hard to navigate, especially when it rained.

Host was really nice and welcoming. Facilities were clean and really nice.

I tripped on the doorstep in the dark.

Absolutely fantastic little place to stay and the bonus was having an amazing breakfast ready for you in the morning. The hosts are very welcoming, warm and knowledgeable.

Breakfast was served between 8am - 9am. Peace and quiet as I had casework to catch up on.

There was no toaster in the room.

Clean and warm studio room with a very comfortable large bed. Alistair is a great host who makes a very nice breakfast.

Alistar was a great host! Very welcoming and kind. He met us upon arrival and greeted us for breakfast he made himself.

Manager was very hospitable and his breakfast was generous. Clean. Beds were comfortable.

Very scruffy - needs upgrading. Driveway, pathways, upholstery in porch room corner couch of our room was very damaged. Bathroom plumbing couldn’t cope with our showering and heating was insufficient.

The bacon, eggs, and baked beans was always delicious. A great start to the day.

The wifi sometimes went down randomly. The neighboring dogs tend to be quite noisy.

The host is very accommodating. Breakfast is complimentary.

Breakfast is delicious and appreciated. The room is cosy and clean. Because hubby and I have stayed at a few B & B in NZ our expectations were a little higher. We thought the room would be cleaned with fresh towels and rubbish removed. Hubby found out on day three we are responsible for putting linen and rubbish out to be collected by staff. Tea & Coffee were complimentary only on day one. Just some things to be mindful of.

I believe it's important to ask questions at the very beginning of stay even though I read the policies etc...

Nice cute little property. Very cozy room and nice surroundings. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Breakfast was really good. The host was such a nice person.
