We had a lovely two-night stay. Our host was very welcoming, and the room was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. We couldn’t fault the accommodation at all. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to sit down and enjoy a hot breakfast as we were staying for a funeral in Ahipara, but it smelled divine! The location was also perfect for us, being only around 20 minutes from the marae. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this accommodation. Thank you Alastair
Just a small recommendation rather than a criticism. The driveway and signage could be improved, particularly for guests arriving at night, as the sign was quite difficult to see. There were also a few potholes in the driveway. Other than that, we had no issues with our stay.

I liked that it was close to town, because it came with a full breakfast included in the price it set us up for the day, it really was good value for money. The host was very welcoming and friendly.

The hosts are great. They live at the property and are very accomodating and friendly. Central to Kaitaia.
Very run down and basic room and facilities, could hear the people next door like we were in the same room, room was small and cluttered.
