Overall our stay was pleasant.

Clean and tidy unit, good sized kitchen with all essential cooking utensils, smart tv, ease of access to amenities, location.

No air con, unable to use the swimming pool or spa while there.

Budget Motel that still has all you need and importantly is clean and equiped with all you need.

For a very budget friendly Motel the room was very clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and gave us a good nights sleep. The space in the lounge area includes a good size table and chairs. Very approachable staff who looked after all our needs during our 3 night stay.

The shower is showing its age but it still works fine and has plenty of hot water.

When we arrived the fridge was unplugged, only one of the two fans worked and it was a really hot night. Kitchen drawers were jammed and we had to spend time unjamming them. There was a dog that was barking all afternoon, not enjoyable when you just want some peace and quiet. Pool didn’t look like it had been regularly cleaned.

Comfi for a short stay. We were 4 adults in a 2 bedroomed/5 sleeper.

Not enough pots, crockery and cutlery for the number of guests (4 adults). Had to ask for extra plates and forks. Only has 1 frying pan and 1 pot. Suggestion: make a checklist for each room and pack accordingly.

Place to stay while working in Kaitaia

Tidy motel close to town. Very close to retail outlets such as Pak n Save and The Warehouse. Good sized bathroom with shower. Comfortable bed. Also full kitchen in the unit.

Greeted by a lovely lady, staff were very friendly, great location, nice and clean, beds were comfortable.

Missing forks, fry pan, cheese grater. Although these are essentials for a standard room, the lady didn't hesitate to rectify the problem which was awesome.

Comfortable, Clean, Convenient.

This is not a modern ‘flash’ motel, but it had everything we wanted. In a nutshell it was clean, comfortable, convenient. The parking area outside each unit was spacious….important for us as i had to get my wife out of the car into her wheelchair. And the parking was off road. Inside the unit even though we had only booked it for the two of us, there was a double bed plus two single beds. The kitchen had a full size stove/oven, plus a microwave oven, a decent sized fridge and there was a supply of crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils. There was a two seater settee and a dining table with four chairs. Immediately outside our room was a small table and two chairs which we used to sit outside in the sun and enjoy a ‘cuppa’. The shower was good with copious hot water and a good pressure. The location is very close to the pac n save supermarket making it ideal for those wanting to do their own catering. But also very close is a Macdonalds, and further on into Kaitaia there is a good range of restaurants….Indian, Turkish, fish and chips, Chinese, European, and more. Very close to this motel is a petrol station which is good for travellers. I would happily stay here again.

Hardly anything negative except i would have liked a grab rail in the shower as i have mobility issues. But the motel does supply non slip shower mats upon request.

Well I booked it for the spa pool , got there and spa and pool not working ! Had to ask repeatly every day for an extra towel for my mum , there was 3 booked in for the room

Overall it was nice and clean, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay

Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and beds very comfortable, close to supermarket and shops. We had the two bedroom apartment and it was spacious with self contained kitchen

No power plugs in the bathroom for hairdryer etc and near the dresser in the bedroom, fridge was off on arrival pool was dirty and not able to use it

Great value for money, convenient location, across the road is the Warehouse, next door Pac & Save and Mc Donalds. Just walking distance to Kaitaia town. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Great layout for family

Large living space with large dining table and decent sized kitchen so handy being able to park directly in front of unit.

Unit we got was not the same one as what was shown in the booking. Was told unit 9 would be out one but we ended up in unit 8. The smoke alarms had been removed and the key for the door was an old fashioned lock and needed a key to lock/unlock it so was a little concerning if we needed to get out in a hurry in the night, etc. especially since there were no smoke alarms. Bed was quite hard.

Not much water in the toilet tank for flushing had to wait before flushing again. Shower, super slow draining (must of been blocked) Mould on the ceiling and window ledge.
