We had a great stay, Lainey and Steve were right there and always helpful.

Close proximity to good stores, coffee shop right there, and easy walk to the beach. BBQ & Outside shower!

A big small, no desk or table to work at, air conditioning was hard to adjust for comfort.

Great location, great set up and great hosts.

Beachbox is pretty compact but it has everything you need. It has a super comfy bed. It is really convenient with a short walk to a beautiful beach, a butchery and delicatessen and a small supermarket with EV charging facilities just 50 metres away, and the best coffee for miles right on your doorstep! Great place to be based in the far North. We have been twice now and would go back again.

We were wanting to travel up to Cape Reinga and this was a great place to stay the night before driving up there. Great location, very comfortable, right next to an amazing cafe for coffee and breakfast and walking distance to a beautiful beach.

Unfortunately the weather was against having breakfast outdoors. Excellent bathroom facilities and access for disabled guests. Everything spotlessly clean. Staff including young ladies in coffee shop friendly and helpful.

The TV with app access only. Should have SKY or Freeview. Elderly guests are not proficient working with apps. Had difficulty accessing TV1/2/3. No easy chairs in unit though poof at the end of the bed was useful. Outdoor features were excellent.

We had a great time at the beach box, it was great for us as a couple and was super cosy with great immenities right out

The beach box was very compact, it had all you needed in a great space, the location was also exceptional especially for those last minute items you might need and coffee right outside your door! The space was done really nicely and it was very clean and tidy.

The only things I would say was that the Wi-Fi was very patchy and being up there in flood weather it was definitely needed for our stay. New pillows would help immensely, the bed itself was very comfortable but we only really had one pillow to sleep with and they weren’t comfortable.

It was beautiful and the location is great, amazing food nearby but steer clear of The fish shop.

Our host was not happy when we arrived; we had not replied to queries while we were out of wifi range. We were in the disability access room although we are mildly disabled. The room was quite small I think that people who cannot stand would have difficulty negotiating the bed and bathroom. For instance if help is needed in getting onto the bed. The are no chairs.

Something special

Loved the privacy of this place , the closeness to the beach, the coffee shop outside the door that disappears as soon as you close the door to the courtyard(and it does great coffee)and the cleanliness of the place. Amazing shower and lovely decor that just makes this place special. Can't wait to go back
