Enjoyed the stay the beds were comfortable had a very good night.

Good place to stay, amazing location, felt safe and good toilet facilities.

There was no body wash or shampoo or conditioner. The middle bed requires a very agile person to climb in which is fairly humorous.

Good location. Communications were mostly swift. Good central location.

Insecure property. Poor lock on room door meaning door was insecure. No secondary lock once inside room to ensure security. Room walls very thin and can hear neighbouring rooms even at low voice levels. Notified owner that we would no be staying due to the above very soon after arriving but they were not willing to offer any form of refund, even though there was time available to resell and even though the security issues were the owners responsibility. Booking.com currently processing complaint.

decent location . close to train station and nightlife . no breakfast , but local pubs do breakfast so all good

This is good for a lads night out , but don't take wife or serious girlfriend if you want relationship to last. There was no TV or gimmicks in room .... Room was clean, thats about it

Ideal location, clean and value for money

The location is a stones throw away from the bars and restaurants, also only a short walk to the quayside. It was clean, comfortable and with the access codes provided it just gave you that extra peace of mind security wise. This place was ideal for our one night stay, very easy to find and prompt return of the room deposit from the hotel owner. Fantastic communication with the hotel owner throughout which is always appreciated. Bathroom facilities were prestine. We got back late evening to the hotel with the hustle and bustle of the centre outside, but we all managed to have a good nights sleep. overall a real bargain in the heart of the Toon! I would definitely recommend this property.

Due to know fault of herozbunks, it was very noisy due to a guy banging on a door for over an hour then setting the fire alarm off, so no sleep. Toilet seat loose. I tightened it up abit. Thick dust on the bunk beds frame. Bedding all clean and comfortable mattress.

Location is great and it was clean, mostly.

Noise and sleep disturbance. I was awoken by the following: someone trying to get into my room, three guys outside my room who didn't have their code, people shouting in the hallway and to top this all off the fire alarm went off at 2am. The room was ok - for a hostel - but if you want a good night sleep then look elsewhere.

Disrupted sleep on eve of my Great North Run - not fault of proprietor and not to do with location (

Location is great; checking in instructions was great; staff/on call was great resolving a problem that was not PROPRIETOR'S fault

Issue at night with someone hammering on door code door for 40 mins from 00:40 hours to 01:20 in morning - this was NO fault of venue and on call staff did sort depsite the unaearthly hour of my call for help (suspect a drunk may have forgotten their door code to enter premises). The price seems too high fot so basic accomodation. I knew there were not towels provided and no kettle - but no TV either and was advertised as soap/shower gel/shampoo provided, but all 3 dispensers were fully empty so a very, very basic toom at 2-3 times Youth Hostel prices.

AVOID!!! Hairy, dirty and rude customer service.

Wasn’t expecting too much due to price and location, but was beyond shocked at how terrible it actually was. Hairs all over each bed, over the bottom sheet, pillow cases and duvet covers, along with lots of different stains. Terrible customer service - we received an email for early check in that was about two pages long, and right down at the bottom it detailed that you have to send a £30 damage deposit per person to be able to get access details - we missed this as the email was huge and this important information was not highlighted anywhere. Rang the man who owned the place to ask for the details as we were stood outside, and he was rather rude and condescending, telling us it wasn’t good enough that we’d left it so late to send the deposit - no customer respect at all. Only two plugs by the bottom bunk when the room is for 3 people - and bigger plugs wouldn’t fit as the socket was behind the bed frame that was fixed to the floor. Beds themselves were very springy, the pillows were like a piece of paper they were so thin - we just slept on top of the beds in our own clothes because of the dirt. People in the rooms around us were disgusting - screaming all night, slamming things around, shouting in the corridors trying to get into different rooms - just generally a rubbish night sleep due to this and felt quite unsafe - definitely wouldn’t stay as a solo traveller.

All right, if you just want a quick sleep somewhere then its decent

The hotel is what you expect for the price, it was clean and safe and overall I slept fine. It is located perfectly centrally if you want to get around town.

The lack of parking availability was quite annoying (after trip advisor told me there was parking). The noise was quite bad, this hotel is located in a very noisy area.
