Perfect for a weekend away in Edinburgh!

The apartment was a perfect size with all the amenities for a weekend in Edinburgh! Staff at reception were friendly on arrival and checkout. Apartment was super clean and only a 30 minute walk from the centre which was perfect! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

If I had to be picky, the heating in the apartment made it very hot so we had to turn it off completely but this is obviously person dependent!

Birthday stay

The facilities were modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed for 5 people. Special mention to Leanne and Lauren for being such amazing and helpful staff. They couldn't of been nicer or more hospitable. Will be back for sure

Staycity was super cosy and homely. All the amenities worked and it was really clean. Walking distance to everything and there is a tesco round the corner which was really handy. It had a working fridge freezer and tv which is a big yes from me

The shower head was abit too low, my boyfriend is 6’2 and he wasnt able to fully immerse himself under the shower head. I didnt like how the beds moved so easily too and how they were not attached to the headboard.

Amazing place and definitely staying with them next time

Hospitality of the staff was out of this world. Kind and nice people, helped me with everything and decorated the place for my anniversary with my Mrs. Reminded me of how hospitality actually feels like.

Comfortable , local and good eateries in the surrounding area.

Location was ok. Heating was on. Bed was comfy and shower was good.

Lighting in the living room was poor annd light switches didn’t work with no instructions . Only one dishwasher tablet and no washing up liquid. Wardrobe door was broken. A standing lamp would have enhanced the light in the living room. Only one shelf in the oven and no baking tray for food.

It was pretty clean and the location was great

The fridge was always opening and did not stay closed allot of times. There was water damage by the shower that did not look good. The beds were rock hard. And when we came home the last night there was a water in the middle of the kitchen. We were not sure where it came from.

Absolutely amazing!!!

The apartment was even better and bigger than in the initial photos, it had everything we needed, all equipment was in place, up and running, personnel was extremely polite and helpful. Definitely would recommend for staying!!! Thanks a lot Stay city Apartments!!!

Poor quality, kitchen skirting kept falling out each time you touched it. Door handle for bathroom came off on the last day.

Brilliant room and very comfy! Location is good being a 10 minute walk to Haymarket, but it’s quiet! The staff were lovely and so accommodating!

There wasn’t any cleaning products supplied and we only stayed 2 nights we didn’t want to buy and waste cleaning stuff,so maybe a good idea to supply something?

A must stay when visiting Edinburgh

Absolutely everything. The moment we put a step in the lobby entrance, the staff makes us feel right at home. We came from a long trip and were tired of the jetlag. Warmly they made some arrangements and luckily there was a room already available for an early check-in. The room and the place are exactly as in the pictures. The location was perfect, with multiple bus stops around and a 15-minute walk to the castle. I totally recommend this place. If I ever go back to Edinburgh, without doubt I would stay here again.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a ground floor apartment that looked out directly onto bins. There were no voile curtains to prevent passers by looking in.

Fantastic Location, Little Improvements Would Do A World of Good

I loved this location, and the staff were super friendly. The space itself was well planned, with a lovely entry area to store shoes and coats. The kitchen area was clean and tidy and everything seem largely well maintained, and the refrigerator and freezer were very spacious. I had read a horrible review about bed bugs after booking which made me a little apprehensive however we did not have any run in with bugs of any kind. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic (if you care about that stuff), and linens/bedding were clean and well-kept. We used the pull-out couch as well, which was not the most uncomfortable bed to sleep on - though the mattress was on the thinner side. We'd definitely return!

Please include directions to using the washer/dryer in the future, this was such a source of anxiety for us when our clothes were locked in the dryer and we ended up spending ages looking up the instructions for the make/model of washer and ChatGPT'ing troubleshooting instructions. Additionally when we inquired about additional pillows/blankets, we were told that that was not something that Staycity provided. Also the window latch was sort of broken - so as you can guess the blustering cold wind combined with lack of blankets was a little less than ideal. Also, if you've run out of toilet paper in the middle of the night you're straight out of luck - you've got to go to the front desk down the block to get more. Staycity should have a "service closet" like Sonder has where you can grab toilet tissue or cleaning solution so you don't have to bother the front desk.

Perfect apartment style room with everything you could need.

The location was close to some cafe's that made breakafst quick and easy. The room had everything you needed to live there as long as you wanted. We only stayed one night, but I could have lived there. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The accommodation would be cost effective for a family; the cost for two people seemed steep.

Our accommodation for two was big enough to accommodate four people. It had good transport links to the centre of Edinburgh (15 min bus ride). A big Co-Op around a corner was a big bonus.

The building was quite noisy. We could hear people talking loudly in the communal area and doors being shut/slammed, which was quite annoying during the night.

STAFF Amazing. Room was a two bedroom apt. We loved it. Clean, open plan and although the bedroom separation was not more than a sliding door, we were comfortable. Would recommend. However, folks, remember, as Americans we are spoiled and really need to understant that this is not a HILTON....Walking to food and entertainment was not difficult.

Expensive but ideal location for central Edinburgh & going to the Tattoo

The accommodation was a flat and well equipped. The location was ideal as not in the centre and noisy but an easy walk to the centre & main park. Car park was expensive but it was underground & secure, so I had no safety concerns about it.

It is very expensive if only 2 people staying, but the place had 2 double rooms so if there's 4 of you then the price would be acceptable. My partner thought the bathroom was a little 'smelly', but I couldn't smell anything.

As expected.

Location was as expected. 20 min walk to centre and 20 min walk to Murrayfield. The apartment living area was spacious and it was good to have a kitchenette although we didn’t cook in. The apartment was off a very quiet side street and there was no noise.

The apartment was not open plan as per the photos and the bedroom was very small and only a 4ft6 bed. We could just about walk around the bed. Would have liked a bigger bed! The apartment was basic and functional rather than comfortable. But that was what we booked and it worked well for our needs.

Great accommodation for a city break

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Very clean with modern facilities incl a coffee machine and TV. The staff were very helpful when required - I asked about places to eat and needed help with the luggage storage. Great location - could walk everywhere! Places to eat, coffee shops and supermarkets, plus Haymarket tram stop all within walking distance.

It was a great location - but the street was noisy with taxis. I would stay again but request a room on a higher level (we were on floor 1)

Fantastic Apartment, Lovely Staff

We had a one bedroom apartment for 3 adults and a child. Kitchen had everything you would need, washer/dryer, oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Spacious. Location was great, near to Haymarket Station . Easy reach to City Centre and Murrayfield. Reception staff were lovely. Couldn’t be more helpful.
