Great location close to Part Dieu train station

I liked the location as Part Dieu train station was 5 minutes walk away so I could easily take the TGV back to Paris It was also close to Westfield Mall for last minute shopping. They also stowed my bags for a couple of hours after checkout.

No late checkout but that is understandable.

Great location close to train station, bus & trams, supermarket and shopping centre. Good security. Nice staff with good communication. The room and facilities were adequate.

There were no comfortable chairs to sit on just dining chairs. Noisy people in the next room.

Spacious accommodation but not too near the Main Train Station

The Room was clean and spacious. Like a private studio which is comfortable. Toilet was huge and all basic kitchen ware are provided except no paper towels to wipe down the tables or wet basin. No dish washer of course. But all other utensils are clean and look new. Breakfast is optional, if you need a quick bite. Otherwise nothing too great. There is a room to store your luggage if you need to leave it there before check in. Location a bit off as there is nothing much in the surrounding area. Still have to walk 7-10 min to the main train station or any bus stops. One cafe across the road about 6 min away with croissants and coffee only. We walked about 15min to see a authentic Chinese Restaurant and food is really tasty. Another grocery further away by foot to get basic amenities. Very quiet neighbourhood with some graffiti here and there with screaming kids occasionally staying nearby. Streets are quite, dirty with dog shit and piling up leaves everywhere. What a sight. There is a school next to the building so it is extremely noisy during school days. You can see the kids and school directly from the accommodation window. The next time to Lyon, I would opt to stay by the TRAIN STATION with plenty of accommodation and hotels surrounding, nearer to eateries, shops and big restaurants for a change.

wonderful location for an overnight stay

All the basics for our quick overnight stay in central Lyon. Convenience store 1min walk. For dinner, well worth the 15 min drive to Vieux Lyon area which sits on the River Saône quayside, overlooked by Renaissance-era mansions. You have to park outside the zone & it’s a short walk into the restaurant hub with hidden courtyards & cobblestone alleys full of hidden gems to eat and drink. Book ahead & just do it. Wonderful.

Beds were hard and only one very soft pillow. No plug for the sink or chux.

Cheap but not cheap

Location is good, near to tram, bus and few minutes walk from metro. The close neighbours are offices for the most but walking a bit you will be able to find pastries, brasseries and even a small market. There's a garage for the car at very good price for Lyon but you have to make sure your car fits in, it's very tight. We were at the top of the building and in a room surrounded by external walls so zero noise from neighbours and the street below at night was pretty calm. Mattresses were tough but comfortable, the double-bed was too narrow. Overall the studio is quite ample.

Smell. The room stunk. We opened every window hoping for some refreshing air but no, it was coming from the bathroom and was strong. It was barely manageable keeping the bathroom door always shut. We didn't ask for changing room because we didn't want to pack again given the short time of our stay. There's a lack of forniture. Lots of empy walls. No wardrobes. And the only one had broken shelves. We didn't use the kitchen, we preferred to eat outside. Fridge is half height. One of the blanket of the single bed was dirty and we used another one present in the studio. We decided to have the breakfast outside. One of the heaters was very loud when kicking in, we slept with it off, being quite warm for January.

Good stay for a family of 3 at Lyon

The staff was very nice and attentive, with elevators, nice breakfast for 8 Euro, the room had air conditioner which was perfect, spacious room, comfortable beds, nice size kitchen and bathroom. We arrived after 7pm and could use the street parking free (7pm to 9am). They had vending machines in the lobby that helped us have a snack late at night. It was pretty quiet to so we had a great night sleep. Good price 👍
