Lovely staff and convenient location, disappointing breakfast

Great location, about 10 minutes walk from Part-Dieu station. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially when I had an issue with a noisy neighbor late at night. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the room size was perfect for me, and the curtains were great and made the room nice and dark.

The breakfast was disappointing: pastries tasted packaged, the coffee wasn't good, and overall it wasn't worth paying for. I'd stay again for the location and service, but I wouldn't book the breakfast.

Easy to get to from Part Dieu train station. Easy check in and check out. Promptly received an extra towel and pillow on request.

Self service machine could not provide tea at night. No tea or coffee machine in rooms. Single glazing windows were cold on sub-zero nights.

Location and cost. Very convenient for Part-Dieu, close to Westfield Mall, on a lot of transport routes.

A convenient place to stay one night after a long journey and when you will be travelling again.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant next door which, I think, is part of the same establishment.

The room was very crampted and should not be used as a double. The bathroom also had little space to stand up in and the towels provided were thin and well worn.

- The room was a good size and nicely decorated - Good Wi-Fi - Clean bathroom, with a decent shower - Comfy bed - Plug sockets and lights by each side of the bed - Small desk provided - Nice view into the street - Not too far of a walk from the train station

- I booked last minute on the day and when I arrived, I was asked to pay by chip and pin. What I didn’t know, was that they had already put a hold on my credit card via this site. Usually, if they’ve put a hold on money, they then request via this method prior or upon arrival. Instead, by asking me to pay on arrival, I was effected charged twice for a number of days until the hold was released. This is important for people to know, especially if you’re travelling in a budget like me; having double the amount not available on my card was an issue. It also took the hotel quite a while to respond to my message about it. It’s a shame, as everything else was great.

The reception and the room looks nothing like the picture. The whole hotel was smelly, the lift was dirty and scary. The room exeptionally small and smelly with a huge mark and hole on the wall. We couldn't bathe, because the smell of sewage came from the shower and the toilette. There were no appliances. The airconditioning was too big and strong for that tiny room, and there was no way to switch it off, so we were freezing the whole night. The badsheets were dirty. It was a huge disappointment.

location not far from the railway station -> good connection to public transport. Public underground parking for 14€/d, 7€ to stay from noon to 6pm additionally. okay shower and bed. window when closed - good sound isolation from outside.

parking is tight, after only 2 nights got some dents. room preparation could be better - was no soap and only 1 set of towels for 2 guests. not enough room space to put luggage for two persons. tiny sink. very bad sound isolation from the corridor. hairdryer with 20€ deposit at Reseption.

Great location, good value

Location is very convenient, near train station, subway, tram to airport, shopping center and plenty of restaurants. Hotel staff was smiling and ready to help.

Breakfast was a bit simple, too less choice especially if the stay is longer than couple of days. I would appreciate some fresh fruits and vegetables. Room was quite small.
